PRQA plugin runs if previous build steps failed ( praqma case 10681 )

Hi Mikko,

PRQA projects are more portable now than in older versions of the tool. The project files now support relative paths, both in reference to the files and include paths in the analyser personalities. Which version of the tool are you using?

I have created a ticket for this issue – number 21316. This will provide an option in the post build section called 'Don't run post build step if build step fails’ which:
if enabled, the PRQA post build step is not executed if previous Jenkins job steps failed
if disabled the PRQA post build step will always be executed

Best Regards,
Jason

[JIRA] (JENKINS-15901) Run shell script/batch job after prqa report generation

Run shell script/batch job after prqa report generation

Hi Frank,
There is a general issue with the post build options in that you can't control the order they happen in. There is however a plugin called 'Flexible Publish Plugin' which allows you to run Post Build tasks in a particular order.
I don't think you need to worry about temporary files - in a sense every file left on the Slave after a build is a temporary file and there are ways of managing the slaves.
Please let me know if you have any more questions.

Regards,
Jason

[JIRA] (JENKINS-15821) Cannot install prqa-plugin

Cannot install prqa-plugin

Hi Frank,

I will send you download instructions for QAW (and QAR which is also required) in a separate email. QAW is a windows zip archive which you need to unzip somewhere (I suggest under the existing PRQA directory). QAR has a normal windows installer. Once installed you need to add the paths to these programs (for example C:\PRQA\qaw-2.3.2;c:\PRQA\QAR-1.2\bin ) to the path of the environment where Jenkins runs.

Please let me know how you get on.

Regards,
Jason Masters
