[JIRA] (JENKINS-39449) "Do not update commit status" doesn't work
Title: Message Title Michal Bocek updated an issue Jenkins / JENKINS-39449 "Do not update commit status" doesn't work Change By: Michal Bocek The Trigger Setup option "Do not update commit status" does not work. When I use this option, "Update commit status during build" is automatically added and therefore the status on Github is updated.See the screenshots:when_saved.png .. the state when I'm saving the configurationafter_reload.png .. when I leave the configuration and get back to it, there's "Update commit status during build" added github_test_results.png .. the only workaround I found: rewrite the context to whatever (like "issue JENKINS-39449") and leave \-\-none\-\- for URL. Still it clutters the list of test results. [JIRA] (JENKINS-39518) Expand environment variables in the Commit Status URL field

[JIRA] (JENKINS-39517) Choose GitHub Server for each job
Title: Message Title Michal Bocek created an issue Jenkins / JENKINS-39517 Choose GitHub Server for each job Issue Type: Improvement Assignee: Kirill Merkushev Components: github-plugin Created: 2016/Nov/04 6:28 PM Environment: Jenkins 1.651.3 Github plugin 1.22.3 Priority: Major Reporter: Michal Bocek Please add the possibility to choose one of the GitHub servers that user specifies in the global Jenkins configuration. I use the plugin basically just to set the commit status on GitHub. However I'm not the only user of that Jenkins instance and when I set my GitHub account credentials in the global Jenkins configuration, these are used by all jobs of the Jenkins instance. So the commit status is set on behalf of my GitHub account even for repositories completely unrelated to me. Add Comment

Title: Message Title Michal Bocek edited a comment on JENKINS-39449 Re: "Do not update commit status" doesn't work I think that one of the options for not updating the Github status could be entering {code} --none-- {code} to the status context field within the "Update commit status during build" trigger option. [JIRA] (JENKINS-39254) Add possibility to change commit URL
Title: Message Title Michal Bocek created an issue Jenkins / JENKINS-39254 Add possibility to change commit URL Issue Type: Improvement Assignee: Kirill Merkushev Components: github-plugin Created: 2016/Oct/25 9:10 PM Environment: Jenkins 1.651.3 GitHub API Plugin 1.76 GitHub plugin 1.20.0 Labels: plugin security jenkins Priority: Major Reporter: Michal Bocek Please add a possibility to change commit status URL (backreference), that on GitHub points to the Jenkins job build result. The Jenkins instance we use is on an internal server and its URL is not supposed to be revealed/visible on GitHub. Instead, we'd like to provide custom URL, for example to a public server where the job result would be stored. Storing the result somewhere else is of course not part of this ticket - that may be handled by a post-build action. It is currently possible to change 'Commit context' and 'Status result' within the 'Set status for GitHub commit [universal]' post-build action. This ticket asks for another field like 'Commit status URL'.
