We had an out of memory exception while running our MSTEST unit tests which caused all subsequent tests to be NotExecuted. Unfortunately those "NotExecuted" tests were counted as passed, so the test job succeeded instead of failing.One example from the TRX file: {code:xml} {code} The transformation in the junitResult.xml file: {code:xml} NaN ConformanceWcdmaCompleteTest.BandSpecificTests TestcaseWcdmaTxIntermod_5_12__FDD9 false 0 {code}

For security issue (OWSP path traversal) you could not go outside workspace directory.Jenkins use Ant DirectoryScanner that supports Ant glob pattern. The help section everywhere wherever you can setup patterns link pattern, links to the Ant fileset help page where , that say "These files can be found in a directory tree starting in a base directory". I would not make documentation different than one in similar places. A more clear documentation could be found in [dirtask| [http://example.com| https://ant.apache.org/manual/dirtasks.html] ] that cites:"In general, patterns are considered relative paths, relative to a task dependent base directory (the dir attribute in the case of {{}}). Only files found below that base directory are considered. So while a pattern like ../foo.java is possible, it will not match anything when applied since the base directory's parent is never scanned for files."

The specified pattern was "path1/.xml, path2/.xml, path3/*.xml", where in path1 and path2 there was report with no failures, indeed in the path2 there was a 2 test and 1 failure. I setup the "Failed Tests" threshold with "Total" 0 and I got the build status FAILURE as expected. Keep in mind that if you do not setup any values (you leave them blanks) in "Failed Tests" threshold build will not fails. Today I have try to use {noformat} //my.private.registry/:_authToken= {noformat} to authenticate against our artifactory instance without success.I also found a [stackoverflow post|https://stackoverflow.com/questions/49404870/how-to-set-auth-for-a-scoped-registry-in-npmrc] where nexus use the same configuration with username and _password instead of _authToken. More investigation are is needed, I have no a plan to solve this.

When I create a tag on Bitbucket Cloud the webhook notify Jenkins for a new tag. But the jenkins plugin does not handle it has a SCM event of kind tag but as branch created event. The PushHookProcessor should be changed (line 165) to check of which kind of event is the notification.

This is a blocker for us upgrading our code-base to NUnit 3 because we rely on the xUnit plugin processing our report file in order to pass or fail builds based on unit test success.The most recent comment on - JENKINS-27043 - seems to relate to the same issue but as that bug wasn't reported for the same reason I thought it would be best to create this as a stand-alone issue as it's quite specifically a compatibility problem with NUnit 3.

Title: Message Title Nikolas Falco commented on JENKINS-31699 Re: use testsuite name to built hierachy How the job report is generated depends by the junit-plugin. xUnit plugin just prepare reports in the form of JUnit XML and give them as input to the junit-plugin. Anyway I can say that report is generated as expected since the testsuite is just a container to group single unit test classes. A unit test could be included in more test suites. A TestSuite is mainly used to make a setup and teardown common to all unit test or to orders them execution. For example the JUnitReport ant task does the same, it groups unit test by package and the name of the testcases as children.
