[JIRA] (JENKINS-34813) SAML2 plugin not working when https is terminated in load balancer
Title: Message Title Rob Sung resolved as Not A Defect Figure out this issue and it ended up being issue with Apache configuration on my end. I added "RequestHeader set X-Forwarded-Proto "https"" to the vhost entry and everything worked out correct. Based on the behavior, onelogin appear to be constructing the URL based on who is making the request. Thank you your help. [JIRA] (JENKINS-34813) SAML2 plugin not working when https is terminated in load balancer
Title: Message Title Rob Sung commented on JENKINS-34813 Re: SAML2 plugin not working when https is terminated in load balancer Jovencio Avila I already had this set correctly and can confirm that it's required. Without this setting the flow breaks at redirection from Onelogin: Jenkins -> Onelogin -> Jenkins (breaks. can't find jenkins) With the setting you mentioned, it finds Jenkins but the message itself was misformatted. Jenkins -> Onelogin -> Jenkins -> Validate SAML message (breaks which checking recipient vs destination in msg) Enabling logging on "org.opensaml.common.binding.decoding" debugging package and confirmed: It seems like recipient in the message is being set with HTTP instead of HTTPS. I checked our onelogin configuration to be correct so I assume that this plugin is deriving the recipient value incorrectly. [JIRA] (JENKINS-36628) Dynamic config file selection by job parameter
Title: Message Title Rob Sung created an issue Jenkins / JENKINS-36628 Dynamic config file selection by job parameter Issue Type: Bug Assignee: Dominik Bartholdi Components: config-file-provider-plugin Created: 2016/Jul/12 3:35 PM Priority: Minor Reporter: Rob Sung Current job has to be preconfigured with a specific file before the job runs. It would be great if we can determine the config file based on job parameter. For example. job parameter "ENV" is "prod", then the job will use config file named "$ {ENV} .conf" or "prod.conf". For example, if the config file is named "xyz/file.conf" it should be displayed as "file.conf" in "xyz" folder. This helps when you have many config files to manage. Add Comment

It appears to be mismatch between how we have configured OneLogin and where plugin thinks it's running. Please advise. [JIRA] [config-file-provider-plugin] (JENKINS-14977) Parameter type to select config file
Title: Message Title Rob Sung commented on JENKINS-14977 Re: Parameter type to select config file Based on the description, I'm looking for the same thing. Right now, the configuration file desired needs to be selected at job configuration so there is no way to dynamically select which config file to use. It would be great if file selection could be based on parameters like the ones supplied in parameterized builds. Thanks!
