Sajajd Rehman commented on JENKINS-19802 Conditional Build Step for Current build status never triggers - or doesnt seem to Ok nor sure it will be relevant here but I spent quite a few hours debugging it and in the end it turned out to be super condition at the bottom saying "Execute script only if build succeeds" was causing issue. This box (Execute script only if build succeeds)is checked by default. unchecked that and now conditional steps work as expected. Sometimes these changes are just time change etc but we observed that sometimes Jenkins deletes conditional build steps. This has happened many times and not sure its plugin or Hudson or whoever it is makes life harder as this causes lots of issues with build jobs as complete steps are missing.
