There's no way to customise the columns in the folders then? You have to recreate the whole structure manually with views instead?

Blue Ocean isn't usable by most people yet for good reasons (eg can't show all pipelines of just a single project) .As part of the views the bitbucket plugin prior to 2.0 had a filter provides in the views for "bitbucket branch jobs only" or "bitbucket prs only" ... The github plugin is still presenting that. These filters have been lost and it's making tracking the state of branches and PRs within a project unfeasible.Even if you can't/won't add the ability to have a view within a defined project having the filter is till very useful for an appropriate view from the top level of jenkins.

Re: bitbucket branch source folder no longer can have views

For others that are missing the folder view from <2.0 I've managed to mostly replicate it at the root Jenkins level using: https://wiki.jenkins-ci.org/display/JENKINS/View+Job+Filters The filters I've got in place to replicate all branches in a project are, for an example of a project called example:

(✔) recurse in subfolders
(✔) Use a regular _expression_ to include jobs into the view
  Regular _expression_: example/.*
Job Type filter:
Job Type: Pipeline
Match Type: Exclude Unmatched
Regular _expression_ Job Filter:
Regular _expression_: PR.*
Match Value: Job Name
Match Type: Exclude Matched

For The PR view it is just:

(✔) recurse in subfolders
(✔) Use a regular _expression_ to include jobs into the view
  Regular _expression_: example/.*/PR.*

It still means you need to have all the views at the root level rather than grouping them within their respective projects, but it's better than no visibility of all branch statuses at once.

Re: bitbucket branch source folder no longer can have views

Currently we have 821 jobs on our Jenkins server. Most of those are older freestyle jobs, some are are pipeline jobs in a BitBucket folder. We are planning on changing all of them to use pipelines and have a {{Jenkinsfile}} s committed to their repos. That pile of jobs is organized with a 15-20 views so various teams in our company can easily find the jobs they care about. Favorites _could_ solve some of that, but there are many cross-functional teams and manager types that will need to see more than just a handful of jobs. It would be nice to be able to organize them in some way (based on a job name regex, or predefined lists, etc) so the people that need to interact with many (possibly all) of those jobs can easily find what they're looking for. Coincidentally, this is one complaint we have about Blue Ocean too, favorites are fine, but when you have to scroll through pages and pages to find something, and there's no search, it can be a bit cumbersome. And for people like myself, favoriting multiple dozens of builds makes the pile of favorites unwieldy too.If the BitBucket folders made sub-folders to organize jobs by bitbucket project, that would probably be good enough. It was pretty nice to have views in these folders and was disappointing when it went away.

Please confirm that you have upgraded org-folders to 1.6 Organization Folders and MultiBranch Projects use the SCM API's categorization functionality to auto generate the managed views. Would having the BitBucket plugin provide categorization per project solve this issue for you? Would having the Favourite plugin auto-integrate and provide a favourites view that is the default if the current user already has favourites selected solve this issue for you? Would having a "My PRs" view auto created for you if you have any PRs?

 Jenkins / JENKINS-41813

bitbucket branch source folder no longer can have views

Issue Type:
  Bug

Assignee:
 Antonio Muñiz

Components:
 bitbucket-branch-source-plugin

Created:
 2017/Feb/07 3:41 PM

Environment:
 Jenkins 2.45 cloudbees-bitbucket-branch-source 2.0.2 workflow-multibranch 2.12 scm-api 2.0.2

Priority:
  Major

Reporter:
 Ben Dean

Previous plugin versions that worked: cloudbees-bitbucket-branch-source 1.9 workflow-multibranch 2.9.2 scm-api 1.3 The basic problem is that I used to be able to add views (List view, Nested view, etc) to the bitbucket folder. Now that's gone and the existing views I had are also go. when I try to go to https://build.foo/job/bb_org/newView I get the normal create a view page, but when I create that view I get a 404 on https://build.foo/job/bb_org/view/some_view/configure. Also all the view creating links are gone from the UI. This is pretty bad if your Bitbucket org has hundreds of repos and you expect to use a single bitbucket folder and views inside that folder to organize the jobs. Note that standard organizational folders still have views, just not the bitbucket one.
