Title: Message Title Kevin Lu commented on JENKINS-49388 Re: Passing variables to a Jenkinsfile shell script within "sh" Actually when the "Plan" stage runs, the value of FOO is picked up correctly, but somehow the FOO variable itself is not passed into the environment of ./tests/run.sh, so I don't think it's an issue of scope Add Comment This message was sent by Atlassian JIRA (v7.3.0#73011-sha1:3c73d0e) -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Jenkins Issues" group. [JIRA] (JENKINS-49388) Passing variables to a Jenkinsfile shell script within "sh"
Title: Message Title Andrew Bayer resolved as Not A Defect You're setting a variable named FOO in the script block, but it's only in that scope. In general, if you need to do this kind of variable-passing, I'd recommend you use Scripted Pipeline, not Declarative.
