From the stacktrace, it seems that the NPE is triggered when there is a build in the queue that has been triggered by an upstream build that the logged in user does not have access rights to read. Do you have projects that are hidden from the user experiencing the NPE? I'll try to push a new version with some extra NPE checks this week.
