Title: Message Title Kanstantsin Shautsou commented on JENKINS-28135 Re: Problem starting docker container slaves since 0.9.0-rc1 docker-plugin requires 1.7, latest jenkins also requires 1.7 now. After plugin updates you must restart jenkins. Title: Message Title Demitrius Nelon edited a comment on JENKINS-28135 Re: Problem starting docker container slaves since 0.9.0-rc1 I had the same problem. The docker host would spin up docker containers up to the limit specified by the plugins, but none appeared as nodes in Jenkins. Reverting back to 0.8.0 of the docker plugin resolved. We were running Jenkins on java 1.6 and upgraded to java 1.8 to get the latest version of Jenkins 1.613.One other thing to note is that on the previous version of Jenkins, we upgraded some plugins and the docker plugin itself appeared to have been removed. Unfortunately we did too many things troubleshooting to isolate what affects occurred due to individual changes. We had to upgrade from JDK 1.6 to get the plugin to "show up" again. Nothing we tried short of upgrading Java got the plugin to show up in the list of installed plugins until Java was upgraded.
