Inject variables into success/fail comments

Issue Type:

Improvement

Assignee:

Honza Brázdil

Components:

ghprb

Created:

14/Apr/14 5:08 PM

Description:

When Jenkins submits a comment to Github whether a test passed or failed, I need more information in the message. I would like to see jobs customize the post-build message by injecting environment variables, such as:

Test PASSed, code coverage is at ${COVERAGE_PERCENTAGE}%.

Project:

Jenkins

Priority:

Major

I agree. This would be super useful for doing custom things on top of ghprb like measuring the change in coverage from a PR, doing lint checks, etc.
