Are you using "/", or "dev" or "*/dev" or "refs/heads/dev"? Based on the log, I guess you might be using "dev", but that seems inconsistent with your statement that your work around includes "set the branch to my dev branch". Are you able to duplicate the problem in a freshly created job? If so, can you provide the job configuration file or the steps you use to define that job? I'm aware that newly created jobs which use the refs/heads/branch_name syntax seem unable to find a revision to build, but I don't recall other readily repeated cases where a revision can't be found. The name "dev" and "*/dev" are not uncommon, and the plugin is working for many users (6+ installations), so I'm quite surprised it is not working in your case. Is there anything else distinct about your job which might cause it to expose this type of bug? I am fairly new to Jenkins, but I am using the Multiple SCM plugin along with BitBucket. It is very possible that this is a configuration issue, but it seemed to match what other people had also reported. I have included a screenshot showing I do have a branch called dev. I did try origin/dev as well as the branch name. If so, is the request to checkout the "dev" branch able to be satisfied in each of the repositories you're using in that workspace?
