This was a NodeJS.org issue. https://github.com/nodejs/node-v0.x-archive/issues/25912 Now is resolved. Workaround: add -Dhttp.agent='not java' to the JENKINS_ARGS var and restart jenkins Jenkins / JENKINS-30218 User Agent Containing JAVA doesn't download NodeJS package.
