bogdan d, your PuTTY private key file must be in a newer format that Jenkins doesn't understand.
Can you provide us a mangled version of your private key? If you change the base64 encoded in your key file and fill it by 'A', that won't reveal your actual secret key, but it'll provide us necessary information about the structure of the file we need to address the issue.
