Microsoft is dropping support for all older versions of IE on January 12, 2016. Only IE 11 will be supported moving forward.

ACE Editor loads extensions asynchronously and there seems to be some issue with this on IE 10 on Windows 2012, at least via the "Microsoft Windows Server 2012 R2 Base" image on AWS (via Remote Desktop).
