Export of cppcheck charts
Hallo everybody, i Want to get the cpp check statistic for all builds. Is it possible to export the complete data for a cppcheck graph for all the builds using the rest API or do I have first to get all builds numbers and than iterate on the single builds to get the data? Thank's.

I think you have two options here, one is to write a plugin that adds the headers and the other would be to run Jenkins with Tomcat or behind Apache's mod_proxy. The benefit of the latter is that I believe you can configure additional headers to be served fairly easily, but I'm afraid I don't have any good references on hand to do that. - R. A quick question about security features and email notifications

Amazon EC2 plugin reaping stopped slaves
I just setup Jenkins and EC2 last week, and it's really an awesome combination. I'm using Jenkins 1.480.1 and EC2 Plugin 1.17. I've got four AMIs configured for launching slaves, all of them have a 30 minute idle timeout, and they also have 'Stop/Disconnect on Idle Timeout' set as well. My goal is for these slaves to hang around in the stopped state indefinitely, so that they can spin up quickly when they are needed (and also to keep the workspace around to make subsequent builds run faster). I'll manually kill slaves when it is time make configuration changes or something similar. Initially this seemed to work fine: the slaves launched when I started a job, they stopped when 30 minutes had passed since the jobs completed. However, a couple of days later (today), I noticed that all those slaves have been terminated (they are gone from Jenkins and the EC2 console). I've done a bit of Googling but I don't see any reports of this sort of behavior. Is this to be expected? I'll launch another set of jobs and see how long the slaves hang around after they are complete, but I'm curious if there is some implicit behavior in the EC2 plugin that I haven't seen documentation for.
Scan for compiler warnings - how to use - quick question
Hi All We are trying to use the Scan for compiler warnings options and discover we like to ignore some warnings. We tried to ignore them by inserting text com.sun.org.apache.xpath.internal.XPathAPI into Warnings to ignore box but it didnt help. We then tried inserting the filename into Warnings to ignore box but it didnt help. How do we use this feature to ignore warnings ? Are there examples out there to teach the basics to use this feature ? thanks
M2_HOME - where is it - quick question
Hi All We are using the bundled Maven of Jenkins. We could not find M2_HOME variable used by Jenkins. Where is it set in Jenkins as an enviroment variable ? Thanks
Re: M2_HOME - where is it - quick question
What are you trying to do? If you are running jobs on master, there is an environment variables section under global properties; check the box and you might be able to set M2_HOME. I have not tried doing this, but it might work. The help says These key-value pairs apply for every build on every node. They can be used in Jenkins' configuration (as $key or ${key}) and will be added to the environment for processes launched from the build. The automatically installed Maven is deployed onto a slave and uses the default repository location, for example, $HOME/.m2/repository on Linux. This is shared between all jobs on that slave. If you set the private repository option for a job, the repository is .repository in the workspace for that job. There is provision in slave configuration to set environment variables, just like for the master; I expect that setting M2_HOME here might work, but I have not tried. If you are starting your slave as a service that calls back to master via JNLP, I expect that you can set M2_REPO on the slave. For example, if you are starting your slave via an initscript, there are standard ways of setting daemon environment variables depending on platform. Again, if you can tell us what you are trying to do, we might be able to give better advice. Kind regards, Ben. On 18/12/12 13:35, Z W wrote: Hi All We are using the bundled Maven of Jenkins.
