Jenkins Plugin upgrade from 1.454 to 1.651.3

2019-02-05 Thread Panagiotis Labrou
Hi there,

We have a few custom Jenkins plugins developed for version 1.454 and we want to
compile

them for usage with version 1.651.3 or newer.

For example one of our plugins pom.xml looks like

org.jenkins-ci.plugins

plugin

1.454

ci-release

ci-release

2.0.1

hpi

When I want to go from 1.454 to 1.645 is easy I simply change 1.454 to 1.645
and plugin is built

however when I try to go to a version greater than 1.645 changing 1.454 to
1.651.3 I receive an

error

Non-resolvable parent POM: Could not find artifact
org.jenkins-ci.plugins:plugin:pom:1.651.3 in repo.jenkins-ci.org
(https://repo.jenkins-ci.org/public/) and 'parent.relativePath' points at wrong
local POM @ line 3, column 11 -> [Help 2]

How can I solve this problem?

Best Regards

Panagiotis Lamprou

Hi,
We are running ansible scripts in Jenkins pipeline over ssh.

Here is the code.

sshCommand remote: ansibleremote, command: "cd
/home/rma/RSMP_Ansible_Scripts \n exec ansible-playbook FailJob.yml"

In case you have any approach to solve it, please suggest.

The Log Parser plugin might be useful for your use case although a

Re: How to configure $JENKINS_HOME/caches dir location?

2019-02-05 Thread Baptiste Mathus
I've had a quick look, and I'm not sure I ever saw a caches directory under
JENKINS_HOME (this is very possible I just don't remember).
Can you possibly list what's in there so we can try and understand what is
generating this directory?

We segregate data quite aggressively already in Evergreen and I do not
remember of such a directory/option.

Thanks

No way to configure gitlab webhook in multibranch pipeline for detected branches(Individual) from Gitlab repository

2019-02-05 Thread Sagar Utekar
I am using multibranch pipeline for Gitlab repository, after a lot of
efforts it is now showing all the branches from repository. But now I am
facing issue as there is no way to configure Gitlab webhook for individual
pipline in multibranch pipeline, though it is showing option to build
trigger when there is any change on gitlab, etc but there is no option to
save changes, as I am creating secret token for gitlab webhook, there
should be way to save it, else it will not reflect chnages and start build
for that pipeline.

It is also not triggering build on any branch pipeline on change in
repository.

Pipeline stages skipping for mulitbranch gitlab repository

2019-02-05 Thread Sagar Utekar
Previously I was trying to use multibranch pipeline for gitlab repository
which has multiple branches, but as there is no way to configure webhook
and save changes for individual branch pipeline, I moved second approach
which is using Normal pipeline for same repository but when I make any
changes to branches other than master it does not executes stages from
Jenkins pipeline and shows this message :

refs/heads/*:refs/remotes/origin/*
skipping resolution of commit remotes/origin/master, since it originates from
another repository

Get Ansible "PLAY RECAP" Failed value from Jenkins pipeline

2019-02-05 Thread Manoranjan Panigrahi

Hello All,

I have Jenkins server setup on a windows 2016 server and Ansible Server
installed on “RHEL 7” OS.

Through Jenkins pipeline I would like to get the value for “Failed=”

is executed.

I am not able to achieve the same.

Could you please guide me.

Re: Is it possible to not remove the docker agent container after job execution?

2019-02-05 Thread Vincent Massol
Some progress thanks to Jesse Glick.

Answer: you have to fill the "Docker Command” field under "Docker Agent
templates” (under “Cloud”). I assume that by default Jenkins is passing
the —rm options when executing the docker command and this is why we need
an override.

It works but but strangely I don’t see the workspace in the container even
though the pipeline logs says it’s in /root/workspace. Maybe some mounts
are done for the workspace by default (even though I didn't pass any mount
in my command)?

FTR the command I've used is "docker run -v
/var/run/docker.sock:/var/run/docker.sock xwiki/xwiki-jenkins-slave”

Any idea?

Thanks
-Vincent

Please do let me know how to transfer ipa and apk file via

source file : {WORKSPACE}/Abc
remote directory : lib (already set the shared directory name in Jenkins
