2013-04-19 Thread Manjunath D G
Hi All,
Can anyone please suggest me it's good upgrade jenkins version from Jenkins
ver. 1.427 http://jenkins-ci.org/ to jenkins ver.1.511?
If yes what and all precautions need to be taken before upgrading the
version via Web Console.

Thanks and Regards,
Manjunath

2013-02-19 Thread Manjunath D G
Hi All,
I'm Able to connect Jenkins Windows Slave by using Launch Method as :
Launch slave agent via Java web Start.

But not working with when i'm trying to use Let Jenkins control this
windows slave as windows service.Provided with right Administrator user
name,Password and Host Name.

I don't see any problem with Jenkins slave which were configured before
migration. They are still working even after migration.Only problem is with
adding new windows slave.

Can some one help me on this

Manju

There is a known issue if the child jobs have block if upstream is
running enabled as they see the triggering job as running,
which might be the issue that you are seeing.

If this is not the case, can you actually post the reasons that the
pending jobs are not running (from the tooltip when hovering over the items
in the Queue), as this will normally indicate the reason for the builds not
 running.

i.e. waiting for an Executor on slave1 or Waiting for Up/Downstream
 project to finish

It works fine if we run the parent project one time.
But, if we run another instance of the same Parent project, the child

Similarly, the second Parent project run also goes to 'pending forever'

Please let us know if there is any fix/workaround.
