Re: email notificaton sends email to blue ocean layout

2022-02-16 Thread Morten Bjoernsvik
I was unable to delete it, but I could deactivate the plugins, so now it is
gone.

2022-02-15 Thread Morten Bjoernsvik

copied jobs are are disabled

2021-08-30 Thread Morten Bjoernsvik
Hi
I splitted one job into several by using the 'New Item' and copy from the
original job.

But the copied jobs are disabled without any setting. I solved it by
checking the job is disabled and then unchecking it and then save.

I've done this many times in the past with no problems, at least it should
set the disabled checkbox.

Is it possible to configure the jenkins rest-api to return a json instead

Below is a 500 posting to a job that do not exists. After creating the job

Re: docker image retention (built via dockerfiles)

2018-03-16 Thread Morten Bjoernsvik
Hi Lucas

This is exactly the use case of a private docker registry like Nexus3.
https://www.sonatype.com/nexus-repository-oss

You can build to what ever layer of readiness you need and then push it to
the registry, then clean everything, then next time you need to build/run a
container you just pull it from the registry.
No intermediate layers, no need to cache anything locally.

If you like to learn about how to optimize you docker workflow, You may
look at https://fabric8.io, (which integrates Gogs, Jenkins and nexus).

Win2008 - Jenkins slave generates a lot of FIN_WAIT_2 socket status

2015-08-19 Thread morten bjoernsvik
Hi All

We have this irritating problem when restarting jenkins that it hangs with
port already in use:

I've tailed it to slave communication leaving a lot of sockets in
FIN_WAIT_2 state, which
will time out after around 120sec unless slave sends again and reset the
timer:
https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/hardware/ff550023%28v=vs.85%29.aspx

when they are gone it starts fine.We are running latest Jenkins 1.624. But
I've not done anything on the slave
it just starts a jekins.war file. should this also be updated?
