How to recover bugtracker/wiki account?
Hi After some time I would login onto my account at https://issues.jenkins-ci.org/ but it seems the account is not longer active!? Same on Wiki login. Why is it disabled? Unable to save Groovy script on EnvInject-Plugin
Hi @all, as a user I'm unable to save a Groovy script on the section "Evalutated Groovy script" on Job config section of EnvInject-Plugin. If I do this as Jenkins admin, it works as expected. How to send bulk mails
Hi Jenkins'ians, from time to time I need to send a notification mail to all developers using our Jenkins installation. I can't use the companies "...-all" mailing list because there are way too many users affected with such mails. So is there a plugin or something else to send bulk mails to all accounts known to Jenkins? Re: Jenkins update hangs on CentOS
Hi Jason, YMMD! :-) I investigated a little deeper what's going on during "yum update". The update seems to stuck at the command "chown -R jenkins /var/lib/jenkins" but as there are a lot of jobs with huge svn checkouts, it just takes very long to touch every single file. Might be an improvement point because I do not see if this is neccessary on every update. Jenkins is the only user which uses these files. Jenkins update hangs on CentOS
Hi @all I've got a problem with one of my Jenkins installations. This one is running on CentOS 6 and every time I update this machine, the Jenkins installation hangs. So after some minutes I break the update with Ctrl-C and call yum-complete-transaction to finish the update. Any ideas what the problem could be? Even rebuilding the package database with "rpm --rebuilddb" has no effect, same problem on next update. So there is not the best feeling during an update job on this machine because I never know if there will be something else go wrong... OutOfMemory during copying artifacts
Hi@all, since some time I'm running into this error if builds on the nodes are finished and the artifacts should be copied to the master: Apr 30, 2014 12:05:54 PM Schwerwiegend hudson.remoting.SynchronousCommandTransport$ReaderThread run Unexpected error in channel srvzh-jenkinsnode-001 java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: Java heap space at java.util.Arrays.copyOf(Arrays.java:2271) at java.io.ByteArrayOutputStream.grow(ByteArrayOutputStream.java:113) at java.io.ByteArrayOutputStream.ensureCapacity(ByteArrayOutputStream.java:93) at java.io.ByteArrayOutputStream.write(ByteArrayOutputStream.java:140) at hudson.remoting.FlightRecorderInputStream.read(FlightRecorderInputStream.java:87) at hudson.remoting.ChunkedInputStream.read(ChunkedInputStream.java:46) at hudson.remoting.ChunkedInputStream.readUntilBreak(ChunkedInputStream.java:88) at hudson.remoting.ChunkedCommandTransport.readBlock(ChunkedCommandTransport.java:33) at hudson.remoting.AbstractSynchronousByteArrayCommandTransport.read(AbstractSynchronousByteArrayCommandTransport.java:34) at hudson.remoting.SynchronousCommandTransport$ReaderThread.run(SynchronousCommandTransport.java:48) The whole node hangs afterwards. All nodes are connected using ssh and as a first trial&error I set JVM opts to -Xmx1g but had no success. Any ideas what's going on there? Job trigger for changes only on certain git repo folders
Hi I need to setup a lot of jenkins jobs, which should be triggered if something changed on certain folders on a git repository. Let's say there ist the following structure: repo - projectA - ... - projectB - ... - ... So for this example there will be two jenkins jobs, one for projectA and one for projectB and each of these jobs should be start if something is pushed into the corresponding folder. So if I push to repo/projectA, only this job should start. Additionally the amount of these folders is undefined, so it is not an option to configure the excludes by hand because if another folder is added, lets say projectFoo, the existing jobs must work as before. Any ideas how to solve this? Kind regards, Yves -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Jenkins Users" group. Embeddable build status icon for views?
Hi I'd like to use embeddable build status icons for views to summarize the status of mulitple jobs. Unfortunately there is no option on a Jenkins view page to generate such an URL and I'm not successful to setup an URL by hand based on the syntax of the icon url for a dedicated job. So is it possible to use embeddable build status plugin together with Jenkins views? What is the syntax for the URLs? -- Kind regards, Yves -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Jenkins Users" group. Parameterized job with two stages?
Hi Jenkins'ians, is it possible to configure parameterized jobs with two stages of parameters at the beginning? Let me explain an example. If build job is triggered, it asks for a Jira ticket ID. The user enter the ticket ID and click to continue. On the next page some details of this Jira ticket will be shown and the user has to enter some more data like his credentials for the commit of the changes out of this build run. Now the build jobs starts after the click on "Build". The idea behind this is to prevent entering a wrong ticket ID by showing additional information on a 2nd screen, so the user has the possibility to verify what he entered onto the build job. Any ideas on how to setup something like this? And of course, other ideas are welcome too! Thx a lot in advance. -- Kind regards, Yves
