Does your WML example start with ?Because you have
to indicate the card in your WML file.

If you don't find the error, you can try to examine the WML page source
(ie in Klondike browser View-->Source), and control if your example lines
are included.
Hth,
Marco.

RE: WML Portlets in Jetspeed

2003-10-17 Thread Marco Mari
Hi!
In your example template there is:
card title="_pruebaWML" id="c1"
but in Jetspeed WML examples there is:
card id="_MyWeather"
Maybe you have to set the card id with your example name:
card id="_pruebaWML"

Another thing: I don't know why in your .xreg file there is "control name"
parameter, it's strange!

If you are interested in multidevice portal, see Bugzilla #23067 for cHTML
and PDA support.
Hope this help,
Marco.

I need to do a multidevice portal with jetspeed. i've read a lot of
tutorials about wireless portlets, but when i try the examples none works.

i've tried to do my own examples based in jetspeed or in the tutorials.
I
use the i
>finite wap gateway to access them with the Sony R380 Wap
Emulator. I can see the links to my examples but when i click on them,
reload the page, but no enter to the portlet.

One of the examples is:
pruebaWML.wml: .../jetspeed/wml/

n="1.0"?>
http://www.wapforum.org/DTD/wml_1.1.xml";>

Bienvenido a mi primer portlet wireless

and pruebaWML.xreg is:
>../jetspeed/WEB-INF/conf/

pruebaWML

> prueba de portlet

org.apache.jetspeed.portal.portlets.WMLFilePortlet

edOnURL="true"/>/wml/pruebaWML.wml
PruebasWML

I add the portlet with the wml Customization pane and then i use my wap
phone emulator to access the portlet but d
>esn't work.

If i have done something bad, or i've forgotten something please tell me

Thanks a lot

Jesús

P.D. Excuse me for my horrible english

RE: Embedding Portlets in to Html Page

2003-09-16 Thread Marco Mari
Hi,
in Js 1.4b5 there is a web clipping portlet supported by a transformer service.
You can download it from CVS.
I think you can clip the first part of the html page, insert your content,
and then clip the second part. You can see web clipping examples, or develop
your own portlet starting from transformer service. I hope this will help
you,

Marco

Yes, it integrates.
During my work one of my main goals was to realize a project easy to integrate
in Jetspeed.
I'll send you a short report and also all my work, you can install it using
Ant.
I imagine you are now really engaged (JSR, Js2...), but if you find some
time to have a look at my project, you can value if it is easily integrable
in Jetspeed (and if it's a good work, of course!).
If you have other questions, ask me, I'll be happy to answer.

Regards,

Marco.

CHTML and PDA support

2003-07-29 Thread Marco Mari
Hi,
I'm a student in computer engineering at Parma University, in Italy.
For my degree thesis I've adapted Jetspeed (1.4b4) to CHTML and PDA navigation.
My project is nearly complete, if you are interested I can donate all my
work (and a report that describes all the things I've done).
Regards,

Marco Mari.

Re: CHTML and PDA support

2003-07-28 Thread Marco Mari
Glenn,
for the moment there's no website, but if you want to have an idea of what
I've done, I'll send you a short report of my work.
If you (and other developers) like it, I'm glad to donate all to Jetspeed
community, and maybe integrate some of my work in Jetspeed distribution.
Ciao,
Marco.

I am interested, and I think the Jetspeed Users List would be interested.
Is
there a website we can go to for your project?
Ciao,
Glen
