is this a stupid question or does just nobody know ? - Original Message - From: Martin Baur [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: Jetspeed Users List [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Tuesday, December 10, 2002 3:30 AM Subject: jportal installatiuon problem Hi all I installed jportal as described. I don't know if everything went ok, but at least it created me the direcories in tomcat, so i assume that part is ok. The problem i got, is that if i enter the url http://localhost:8080/jportal/portal i get an error saying Servlet jetspeed is currently unavailable does anyone know what went wrong here ? here are the steps i did: 1. installed ant 2. unzipped the jportal jar file into a directory 3. modified the build.xml 3. in that directory i typed : d:\java\ant151\ant turorial-all ; ant deploy now that created me a directory jportal under \tomcat\webapps now i started tomcat and went to the url above, but that gives me that error. jetspeed itself is still working though. cheers martin -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]

Re: Maximize IFramePortlet
i think you can set a parameter width=100% and scrolling=yes in the xreg file. this works for me. - Original Message - From: Sangam Dash [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: jetspeed-user-digest-help [EMAIL PROTECTED]; Jetspeed Users List [EMAIL PROTECTED]; jetspeed-dev-help [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Friday, December 06, 2002 12:38 AM Subject: Maximize IFramePortlet Hi Is there anyway that i can maximize the IFramePortlets for the anon user as we can do for the turbine user? Please tell me how to that? I am also confused with the rss files. What are those files and why they are used? total newbie question
Hi there I just installed this and now I play around with it. And of course I already have a question. When you login as Admin, in the Admin pannel you got a link Jetspeed Content Admin What is this ? I added a new entry www.google.com and it tells me that the new content was published under jetspeed but I can't find it anywhere. cheers martin

I was able to create a piece of content with the form, but is it possible to administrate the whole content? I mean, is it possible to remove or modify an article after creating it? And if so, how can I do that? Thanx a lot in advance for your help!
