looks like a simple quotes problem to me. Try:

*  jmolApplet(400, 'load append "a.pdb" "b.pdb" '; cpk off;);  *

[Jmol-users] Need help... to load different PDB files in JMOL

Hi to all,
I want to load more than one file in jmol in jmolapplet
I dont know how to use "Load append" command..
can i have a sample code..
When i tried to open using double quotes to enclose the file name, i am getting 
error..
  jmolApplet(400, "load append "a.pdb" "b.pdb"; cpk off;);  


Please help me..
