Hi Durga

Search the online scripting documentation for colorscheme. That's
what you need. Apart from the standard schemes, I'm quite sure you
can impose your own. You may need to use a JmolScript variable for
that, I'm not sure.

Re: [Jmol-users] displaying the b-factor

2010-03-10 Thread Durga Bhavani Kuchibhatla
Hello

Thank you. I am able to display the temperature.

Is there any way to display temperature in a single color specified by the
user? I want to select hydrophobic residues in the protien
and color the residues in a gradient of blue color using the temperature.

I tried the following command

select hydrophobic;color blue;delay 3;set rangeSelected on;color
relativeTemperature

But this is displaying the hydrophobic residues in blue first,,but then it
is displaying those residues using default bwr scheme.
How to change the colorscheme and make it display the hydrophobic residues
in gradient of blue?

Thanks for all the help

If I remember corectly, the b-factor is read using this command:

 color tenperature

[Jmol-users] displaying the b-factor

2010-03-08 Thread Durga Bhavani Kuchibhatla
Hello everybody,

I have a protien structure file in pdb format which contains the
conservation values in the b-factor column. I would like to project these
values on to the individual residues using some color scheme in jmol and
display the structure.
Can anybody suggest an efficient way of doing this?

Thanks

Regards
