My understanding was that the law clearly stated that legal residents have
preference over h1bs. Is this true? Do I have any recourse? Does anyone
care about saving good paying development jobs anymore? Does anyone have
any insight? I have tried to maintain that if I am better and have a great
work ethic, I would be ok, but when the rate of an h1b is less than half of
my rate - dollars alone tell the tale.
