Dear Fr Thomas

As all members of the family and friends know, I have been partly deaf
for
several years now. My wife and our sons have been pressurising me to get
myself a hearing-aid because I could not even participate in the
conversation at the dining table except with the persons sitting close
to
me. But I kept putting it off saying if the Lord wants me to improve my
hearing He should either give me the money for a hearing-aid or heal me.
Most of the time I missed the Word of God being proclaimed at Mass. But
I
found a solution for that by reading the Missal before going to church.
In
fact it turned out to be a much needed preparation for the Mass and I
considered my partial deafness as a blessing indeed.

After you touched my ears and prayed over me I felt a dull pain deep
within
my ear-drums and a warmth around my ears. As I walked back to my seat I
realised with joy that I have experienced some healing. I then asked my
wife
to whisper in my ears any sweet nothing and I could hear her whereas in
the
past I would not be able to hear if she spoke to me softly in the
church. So
we went on with our "experiment" for a little while with joy and
excitement.
A friend of ours who was obviously watching all the carryings-on between
us
wondered what the matter was with both of us. Then when I stood up and
gave
testimony to my healing her curiosity was answered.

Before the healing I could not even hear the alarm clock beside my bed
even
when I lie awake, and my wife has to drag herself over me to put it
off.!!
This morning I could hear it well as I was lying awake.

Thank you Fr.Thomas for being an instrument of God for healing my
partial
deafness. As Jesus said to his apostles that they would perform even
greater
miracles, may the Lord bless your ministry and truly empower you to do
greater works of mercy for His glory.

Thank you once again for bringing healing to me.

The good Lord has touched many in this land through all the prayers that
we have put in. Thanks and praise to our Lord Jesus christ. Attached is a
healing that took place yesteday to a lady who has survived 3 major
accidents and recently fel from a ladder and injured her back. Now she has
received complete cure from her back injury

terrible pain and I could not even sleep. The doctors told me that surgery
would not be possible due to a previous spinal operation in the late
seventies. I was also told that this will always hurt me and that I will
have a bad limp. The L3 is 25% out L4 and L5 is 50% out.

Today during the mass the I have received complete healing . Praise the
Lord . I thank God for sending you to us and I thank you father for your
prayers

[JOYnet] New Zealand Retreat

Praise the Lord,

Thank you in Jesus name to all joynetters for interceding the New
Zealand retreat. Yesterday we had a 1-day retreat at wellington - the
capital of new zealand. Wellington is about an hour's drive from
Auckland. There were a lot of blocks against this event right from
the beginning. Initially when we talked about the possibilty of a
retreat to a friend of mine in wellington he said that there were
only few Catholics in Wellington and it may be difficult to organise
one. Fr.Thomas and me started praying about this and things started
moving. Our good lord had anointed the wellington ministry and in an
hours time we get a confirmation from my friend that the local praish
priest had graneted permission for the retreat .
Praise the Lord 

Even when we reached the airport there were blocks. All the flights
to wellington for that day had been cancelled after we checked-in. We
cancelled the tickets and took the evening train to Wellington which
took us there the next day morning - praise the lord

There was very good anointing during and after the retreat both
physivcal and spiritual. A deaf person could hear after the healing
mass in the evening. Another lady who had severe back pain for a year
and a half was healed off her back pain. There were lot of spiritual
healing as well - A girl could see Jesus in a vision and many were
touched. They were all happy that this had happened and a new
awareness has been generated. One of the Kiwis mentioned that in the
past the Lord sent missionaries from the west to the east to spread
the Word of God and now the Lord we are getting it back.   

We praise you and thank you Lord for your wonderful ways. Your ways
are always much much higher than ours Lord just like the sky is above
the earth. Teach us to be one with you in your Love and protect us
through your spirit. Thank you for your mercy on us Lord. 

Blessed Virgin Mary , intercede for us and guide us to the Lord. Keep
your children in your care and you know what is best for your
children. Mother of the church and our own mother  you know what is
best needed for our spiritual growth. Please pray for us till we all
reach your son Jesus on the last day .

[JOYnet] Evangelization New Zealand

the first day of a 2 day retreat for a nearby city in New Zealand,
Hamilton. There was not much of a crowd today but some of them were
touched. There were quite a few Kiwis amongst them as well, along with

strong anointing on the people who are coming tomorrow for the sessions
on Holy Spirit.

[JOYnet] Youth Retreat

Praise the Lord

 We are entering the second day of the youth retreat.There were
22 of them yesterday. It was a first time experience for many of
them. We need to intercede for this young group ranging from 7 to 22.
Today it started off with a discyussion about death. Some of them
expressed that they were not afraid of death but were sad to depart
their dear and near ones. Some have not seen someone die before their
eyes and hence does no know the pain of death. 
 Please intercede for this group and lift them up to our father
in heaven so that they may know the Love of the father and be filled
with his spirit, because the spirit is what reveals everything to us
both of this world and that to come. May the spirit of the Lord
anoint them and their parents and all around them so that they turn
to the Lord and surrender their lives to him.

"All their fear is about the fear of the last day in this world :
Sirach 40:2. The title of the chapter is "THE PLIGHT OF MANKIND"
Satan is all out to even take away the fear of death from the young
ones so that they would be in state of blindness. Praise the Lord. 
 
Touch their hearts Lord and instill in them a desire for the Lord and
HIS wonderful plan for mankind. Instill in them a longing for you
Lord. We ask this in your precious name through our blessed mother
and mother of the church 

"AVOID THE PASSIONS OF YOUTH AND STRIVE FOR RIGHTEOUSNESS, FAITH,
LOVE, PEACE TOGETHER WITH THOSE WHO CALL OUT TO THE LORD WITH A PURE
HEART" - 2 Timothy 2:22

[JOYnet] Retreat in New Zealand

Praise the Lord
 
We had a wonderful day of praise and worship and sharing of
the word of God. The day started off with Praise and Worship songs the
songs were really touching especially "Change my heart Oh Lord".  There
was very good anointing during the praise and worship. Fr.Thomas
delivered talks on sin and judgement blended with heart touching
testimonies. Many people were moved and touched by the Holy Spirit, and
there was lot of healing. During praise and worship while I was praying
with Fr.Thomas the following word of God was received. "I urge you then
to make me completely happy by having the same thoughts, sharing the
same love, and being one in soul and mind" Philippians 2:2. 
Today's group was a totally mixed group with people from
many different cultures Kiwis, Samoans, Pilipino, and Indians. And the
lord was asking us to be one in the soul and mind if we were to be
united in Christ in spirtte of our being different in many respects. To
receive the same Spirit that Jesus had. The day ended with the
Eucharistic celebration and adoration. There were lot of anointing and a
lot of healing very powerful spiritual healing and many physical
healings too. 
We could see the power of the JOYnet community. Thank you
all for the prayer support. Request your prayers tomorrow as well, the
final day of the retreat.

[JOYnet] FW: the lamb of god

Dear friends in Jesus
 
Praise and thanks to our Lord God Jesus for his great mercy
and Love on us. Atttached below is a note prepared by my daughters
Elizabeth, Rose and Teresa when Fr.Thomas asked them to prepare
something on the Lamb of God. 
 
The Lamb of God
 In John 1:36 it says: "When he saw Jesus walking by, He said there is
the Lamb of God." This means Jesus is the new sacrifice. In Leviticus
16:21, 22 we see that the lamb takes away our sins. This was the Old
Testament term. But now the bread of life takes away our sins. We all go
to church and eat this bread of life but not with all our heart, our
mind and our soul. In john chapter 13 verse 27 it says "As
 soon as Judas took the bread, Satan entered into him" so if we don't
eat the bread with all our heart, our mind and our soul we will be like
Judas (who betrayed Jesus) But if we eat this bread with all our heart,
our mind and our soul our sins will be forgotten and we will be born
again not physically but spiritually. Praise the lord.

Very interesting scripture that brings inner healing. The moment
we accept that our enemy is satan and not human beings then we start
fighting against our enemy that is satan and not against human beings. 1
PETER 5:8 also throws light on this when it says "YOUR ENEMY THE DEVIL
IS ROAMING AROUND LIKE A ROARING LION TRYING TO DEVOUR WHO EVER COMES
HIS WAY". So it is clear that our enemy is the devil. We can remove any
bitterness that resides within us when our fight is directed at the evil
spirit working in human beings and not the human beings themselves

I remember a situation.  The other day I was with a group of youth in
New
Zealand. We started to talk about the stress in the families and I
noticed one young man dropping his head and eventually the focus of
attention was on reconciliation in the families. At one point,
interestingly enough one of the youngsters stated “My home is a
purgatory”
and for him purgatory means a temporary hell. For him Lucifer is his Dad
and mom is the counterpart of Lucifer. This young man and all the
youngsters except one or two mentioned that they themselves are the
little devils in that temporary hell.

 

It was sad to be conscious that their parents are the devils. For the
youngsters they and  parents are the devils.. We may sit back and argue
for arguments sake that they could be wrong but real life situation for
these youngsters was the awareness of themselves not as the beautiful
creation of God. They forgot that God created the human beings to
resemble God. God said “now let us make human beings they will be like
us
and resemble us” - Gen.1.26. The youth in New Zealand experience
temporary hell situation in their families.

 

Often we think that our parents and our enemies are devils and we start
fighting them. We are ready to annihilate each other. But the real enemy
is not us. It is the wicked spiritual forces. “We are not fighting
against human beings but against wicked spiritual forces”. Ep.6.11.
Often
times we think the enemy is my family member. Hence we fight tooth and
nail to destroy the others. I have seen children fighting their parents
for various reasons or even annihilating them. Cain did the same. He
felt
jealous. Jealousy is a gift of the devil and  Satan hid that very
cunningly and deceived Cain. Cain felt angry at his own brother and
destroyed Abel. “Cain ! turned on his brother and killed him” Gen 4:8.

The real enemy was evil that took over Cain. Satan is a liar. He even
called God a liar. When Eve, reasoned out with Satan in her struggle to
obey God, Satan said God is a liar and convinced Eve to work against
God.
Eve said “God told us not to eat of that tree. If we did we will die”
Gen3.3 and  Satan stated “That is not true” Gen 3.4. This Satan is out
there looking for us to trap us to sin against one another so that we
might fight each other and annihilate one other.

In this fight against the evil forces, we may fail if we don’t put our
proper spiritual armors. There are six pieces in this spiritual armor to
be used  in the fight against the evil. “Truth as the belt,
righteousness
as the breastplate, readiness to announce the Good News as the shoes,
Faith as the shield, salvation as the helmet and Word of God is the
sword
which the spirit gives. Pray on every occasion as the Spirit
leads”.Eph.6.14-18.
The fight against evil is a constant warfare. But we need the Holy
Spirit
to illumine our hearts so we will know the real enemy. The real enemy is
Satan not our brothers and sisters. No need to destroy our erring
brothers and sisters. Pray for them so that they will be ! delivered
from
the clutches of the Evil one. Jesus himself prayed for us sinners. “I do
not ask you to take them from this world. Keep them safe from the evil
one” John 17.15

 

We need to pray for our parents, brothers and sisters, spouses,
children,
friends, priests, religious, government officials, communicators so they
may not transmit evil messages, teachers, office mates and everyone who
might be considered as evil doers or our enemies.

Thanks to the Joynet community for the wonderful prayer support. 
 
Today is the last day of the 3-day retreat for the malayalees in New
Zealand. Yesterday was a day of great blessings and many turned to the
Lord and lifted their hands in Praise and Worship. Many were freed from
their fear of the Lord and his Word. Please continue to intercede for
opening their hearts to the holy spirit and the anointment of the holy
spirit that is to take place today.

www.rediffmail.com  . She came and asked me
if this site was ok. I prayed upon it and this is the reply I gave to
her. Thought I should share this with you.

Dear sister,
 
I have been praying about the website www.rediffmial.com
   that you have come across. It is a very
disastrous site which could lead thousands of people from the real
belief. I have just scanned quite a few pages and found that they are
not guided by the spirit but intended to lead believers away from the
truth. Satan as we know is a roaring lion  trying to devour who ever
comes his way 1 peter 5:8. Anyone can quote verses from the bible, but
to be giving the word of god through the wisdom of God can only be done
through the spirit of God which resides in all of us. When the spirit is
awakened then we are prompted by the spirit and all the secrets of the
kingdom will be revealed to us by our father in heaven. Today we find
many many false prophets and antichrist is already in the world trying
to adulterate the word of God 2 Corinthians 2:17, and when Satan finds
that someone is moving towards the truth then he is all the more
worried. Amos 8:11 says that the time is coming when the Lord will send
famine on the land. People will be hungry but not for bread they will be
thirsty but not for water. They will hunger and thirst for a message
from the lord. So long as we do not receive the truth Satan is happy but
when we approach the truth he starts becoming restless. 
When praying about this the lord has been telling me about the need for
such a name for this website. This site is targeted at many Christians
in India who are accidentally tracked into this site. The Indian
Christians are one of the oldest Christians especially the people from
kerala who are firm believers and the latest spiritual finding is that
the Lord has already placed keralites all over world (the community that
has spread the most in the world is the catholic community of kerala)
for carrying out the revival strengthened by the spirit powered in
kerala. A Christian site does not need a name like rediffmial. So his
target now is kerala.   
They are depicting the catholic church and the Bl.Mother as a whore,
which will only create great annoyance with our father in heaven who has
given all respect to the mother and made her the mother of the church
and our own mother. The church is more than 2000 years old and Jesus
himself appointed St.Peter as the first pope when he gave the keys of
heaven to him. Mathew 16:16 "And so I tell you Peter you are a rock and
on this rock foundation I will build  my church and not even death will
able to overcome it". This is a revelation that the lord has given me
recently and it gave me the shock of my life. I thanked the lord for
bringing me into the catholic faith which is not given to us through
catholic parents but through faith. It says death or the gates of hell
will not prevail against the church. 
The Catholic Church has been through very tough times in the past, when
there has been a lot of criticism against the beliefs of the church for
many many centuries and many people have left the church and started
many new churches right from the time of reformation. There have been a
lot of scandals against the Bl.Mother and priests including sex related.
Some of them have been true and many have been acquitted, but the church
never ever deviated from the belief's it has had right from the day of
St Peter. There is no other organization which is as old as the church
and it is only in the power of the word Mathew 16:18 that the church is
going strong. 
In the US 50 new churches are formed every month and 60 are being wound
up. We start sharing the word of god every Sunday with Isaiah 66:2 which
says that the lord is pleased with those who are humble and repentant
and who fear him and obey him. So all we need is humility of the spirit
which is what the blessed mother had. She was filled with grace Luke
1:28 and grace is given to those who are humble James 4:6 - god resists
the proud but gives grace to the humble. So the humble are always filled
with grace and so if we have to be filled with grace then we need to be
humble in the spirit and if some one cannot accept the mother then he
cannot have humility or grace be he catholic or protestant. Only a
person with humility can know the mother. The devotion to the mother
shows ones spiritual level and this why it says that no one can approach
Jesus without the mother and that is also the reason why the lord gave
his own mother as our own mother and the mother of the church - the
last thing he did before he left this world. John 19:23-25 seeing his
