My browser (FF 2.0.0.12) appears to be trying to interpret some of the HTML as part of the javascript file. This bug appears frequently (but not every time) a page is loaded. Details below. I see it with jquery 1.2.1 and 1.2.3 full and minimized. I see it also in IE. I see it even when I comment out the <meta tags and other scripts that load after jquery. Has this condition been seen before?
