[jQuery] Drag & Drop Outline Application

2009-08-17 Thread Randy Johnson
Hello,

I looked at this today:

http://jqueryui.com/demos/sortable/#connect-lists

I was wondering if anyone knew of code like this that handled embedded
lists that would work like an Outline

Thanks!

[jQuery] cluetip positioned centered on top of link

2009-07-20 Thread Randy

Is there anyway to do this? I have topOffset: -25 but since the
links are of varying lengths, there isn't a leftOffset value that
would center the cluetip over different size links.

[jQuery] Re: cluetip onMouseOut Stick problem

2009-07-16 Thread Randy

Try hovering over the link and then move the mouse to the left
(without going over the actual cluetip). The cluetip stays active.

Looking at your demo, jTip Style clueTip, if you move over then and
then move the mouse to the right, it still doesn't close the cluetip

[jQuery] cluetip onMouseOut Stick problem

2009-07-09 Thread Randy

When sticky: true and mouseOutClose: true are set the cluetip doesn't
always close when you mouse out.

Look at the example on the JQUERY DEMO PAGE:
http://plugins.learningjquery.com/cluetip/demo/

Look at jTip Theme,
1.jTip Style clueTip, with slideDown effect and an image placed in
the title for closing it, because it's sticky.
New: The clueTip will close if you mouse out of it.

The only way I can get the cluetip to close is moving the mouse on top
of the cluetip.

Anyone else have this issue and how to resolve it?

Also, the html I am using is identical to the example. I've tried
several different callback suggestions but nothing seems to work. Any
help would be most appreciated.

[jQuery] How to select nested tabs

2009-03-20 Thread randy...@gmail.com

I have created nested tabs using Tabs 3. Trying to select the second
nested tab by default. Doing this does not work...

$(document).ready(function() {
$('#container ul').tabs(1);
$('#container-2 ul').tabs(2);
})

The second container is ignored and the first nested tab is selected.

    [jQuery] Previous TD

    2008-11-17 Thread Randy Johnson

    Hello,

    Here is sample code:

    34 Days
    11/03/2008

    When I click on the date above I want to be able to change the rowSpan
    on the td that surrounds it. I cannot seem to get it right.

    Here is the latest thing I tried:

    $("#r"+id).prev("td").attr("rowSpan","1");

    I also tried:

    $("#r"+id).prev(".rsp2 td").attr("rowSpan","1");

    Thanks!

    [jQuery] chain Selected Issue

    2008-05-31 Thread Randy Johnson - CFConcepts

    Hello,

    I am developing a Task list to help myself learn Jquery better. I am
    working on trying to add a mix of plugins and writing my own stuff.

    Here is my first issue:

    http://localhost/cf/cftask/jq_clientsites.cfm?mycl=undefined&_id=client&_name=client&_value=1

    mycl is undefined. I cannot seem to get it to work.

    Here is the code:

    $('#client').chainSelect('#clientsite','jq_clientsites.cfm?mycl='+$('#project').attr("value"),
    {
    before:function (target) //before request hide the target
    combobox and display the loading message
    {
    $("#loading").css("display","block");
    $(target).css("display","none");
    },
    after:function (target) //after request show the target combobox
    and hide the loading message
    {
    $("#loading").css("display","none");
    $(target).css("display","inline");
    }
    });

    Project 1

    Project 2

    Can anyone point me in the right direction?

    Thanks!

    [jQuery] Select Boxes and choosing a value on page load

    2008-05-22 Thread Randy Johnson - CFConcepts

    Hello,

    I have a page that auto loads States and Cities from a database.

    When you change the state, the city name changes.

    This works fine on the page when you go to fill it out for the first time.

    What I can seem to find anywhere is how to pre select the boxes if I am
    doing an edit on the page.

    For example:

    If I fill out the form with South Carolina as the state and Myrtle Beach
    as the city, how do I go about getting the state select box to have
    South Carolina Selected, then have the city list load with the South
    Carolina Cities but have Myrtle Beach Selected.

    I will keep reading over the mailing list archives and plugins to find
    an answer, in the meantime if anyone could help me out I'd appreciate it.

    Thanks!

    Randy

    [jQuery] jQuery and IE7 issues with Star Rating Plugin

    2007-05-30 Thread Randy Taylor

    I am using the Star Rating Plugin located at
    http://sandbox.wilstuckey.com/jquery-ratings/
    to create a rating system for each item in a list. It works great in
    IE 6 and Firefox but for the most part will not work in IE 7.

    I have setup a clean and simple test page at
    http://www.songdiscovery.com/dsp_community_test.cfm
    for anyone that is able to take a look and give some input.

    I have a deadline for this Friday and am unable to find a fix at this
    point. Any help will really mean a lot and save me big time.

    Thanks in advance for your comments and expertise.

    Sincerely,
