[jQuery] Re: Switching a tabs content from a remote source to a local source

2009-08-07 Thread WR

I'm using JQuery 1.3.2 and jQuery UI 1.7.2. It was apparent in Firefox
3.5 definitely but also IE 6/7/8 I believe. To overcome this problem,
I am currently removing the remote tab then adding the same tab except
with a local source which is obviously a bit clunky.

That shouldn't happen and a similiar bug was fixed for IE long time

 jQuery UI do you use?

It seems that if you change the url of a tab from a remote source
(ajax request) to a local source
  i.e. ('#myTabs').tabs('url', 1, '#myLocalContentDiv');

When you then click on this tab, it makes an ajax request
(tohttp://myURL/#myLocalContentDiv) rather than simply showing the local
content. This in effect reloads the entire page into the tab.

Any way round this, or shall I report this as a bug?

  Thanks.

[jQuery] Re: Superfish integration into Joomla 1.5

2009-03-12 Thread WR

Thank You for reply.
Yes, I have the menu, but it's simple (unstilled). I found I mistyped
the path to superfish.css (and others). I corrected this, but now I
have a problem, that nav-bar menu doesn't work like in authors example
(I have no arrows - even enabled in parameters and 1 level child menus
disappear, even when selected).
I don't understand the sentence in authors page:

Call superfish() on the containing ul element...

Where it must be done? Do I have to edit joomla mod_mainmenu or how...
If I paste Call superfish... code in my template head - I get
javascript error:
jQuery is not defined.

[jQuery] Re: Space gallery

2008-01-12 Thread WR

I think this is awesome, but I can't for the life of me understand why
you make it so large?

For example, it runs just fine without the ENTIRE file called
utils.js, where did you use that?

Truly looking forward to later versions, but this one will need some
serious editing before being put into production.
