Re: A web server Program
Apart from that, i am sure that u could find a lot of "open-source" sites on the internet who keep a detailed documentation of how to get started. U could always "take apart" a existing server for understanding sake. This would not only give u a better insight into how things are done but would also help u decide ur course of action. Re: jdbc:odbc no default driver specified
U may have already done this .. but make sure that the DSN has to be a "System" dsn. That is the last situation that i had the error in myself. It may also be advisable to delete the DSN and re-create the same. I've had problems working with Access 2000, whereas Access 97 always came thru ! Thankx for the Cool Tutorial !
Hello All, I would like to thank all of those who suggested this cool tutorial on the IBM site. It was all about JSP/ Servlets and stuff. Admittedly one of the best, the most concise tutorials i have ever taken. Now one more thing - Is IBM Websphere available for download or is it a commercial product. If available for download - i could do with the URL ! Thankx all the same. One small thing. I am putting up a website called "Java Beginners" ( http://javabeginners.8m.com ). It is a non-commercial "home-spun" site aimed at collecting links, articles, tutorials, etc for the Java Beginners. The general idea is for the any level of Java users to be able to find what he/she is looking for in one place. Any input, suggestions, wishlists or even contributions ( in terms of links, etc ) would be welcome with due thankx and credit. Please do try looking at the examples provided with JSWDK 1.0.1 or alternatively u could try looking up my website at http://javabeginners.8m.com in the resources section for a tutorial on JSP.
