JSP

2001-05-23 Thread Richie Bab A. Boyboy

Hi people!
Could anyone send me a jsp code using session object?
I have a problem using the session.setAttribute() method.

Re: JSP

2001-05-23 Thread Richie Bab A. Boyboy

Thanks for the response. But I it didn't solve the problem.
I was able to invoke the jsp and I got the result I wanted.
But the thing is, if I include the the scriplet
<%
 session.setValue("empH", "Richie");
%>
or
<%
 session.setAttribute("empH", "Richie");
%>

Am I missing anything? Do I still have to include some tag so that I can
execute the session object properly?

You know what Joseph, you do not need to be rude to this guy. He just wants to

the problem you can either advice the person where to seek help. This is a

I would just like to ask if you have any idea regarding our dilemma in
setting-up our 9IAS server.
Our application works properly if we our accessing from one JSP to the
other. The same is true from one servlet to the other. But when we
access a JSP page from a Servlet it is not functioning properly.

Thanks.

Re: Servlet and CSS setup...

2001-07-27 Thread Richie Bab A. Boyboy

You may try this as well href=../my.css in your link tag. The path may vary
depending where your html directory is pathed.
The reason behind that is a file generated by a servlet points to the directory
where your html file is located.
Thus your my.css should be placed in the same directory where your html file is
placed.
