Not yet. This enables bootstrapping on a clustered lxd that's also
localhost. It's a step toward making Juju aware of the clustering APIs but
does not yet enable the work of adding a remote lxd cloud. I showed this in
last week's Juju show.

Juju 2.4-rc1 Released

2018-06-06 Thread Kelvin Liu
*A new development release of Juju is here, 2.4-rc1.## New and Improved -
LXD functionality has been updated to support version 3 of LXD. Better
support exists for LXD installed as a Snap, defaulting to Snap-installed
LXD by default if it is present. Initial support for LXD clustering is
available under constrained conditions:- The LXD installation on the local
host must be a cluster member.- Bridge networking on clustered machines
must be set up to allow egress traffic to the controller container(s).-
Multiple backups saved on a controller can now be removed at one time while
keeping the latest backup with `juju remove-backup --keep-latest`.- Help
for backup/restore has been updated with instructions on how to restore a
backup in an HA configuration. `juju restore-backup` provides the updated
instructions.## FixesFor a list of all bugs fixed in this release, see
https://launchpad.net/juju/+milestone/2.4-rc1
## Known IssuesThe Oracle
provider cannot bootstrap. This will be fixed in 2.4-rc2.## How can I get
it?The best way to get your hands on this release of Juju is to install it
as a snap package (see https://snapcraft.io/ for
more info on snaps). sudo snap install juju --classic
--candidateOther packages are available for a variety of platforms. Please
see the online documentation at
https://jujucharms.com/docs/stable/reference-install
. Those subscribed to
a snap channel should be automatically upgraded. If you’re using the
ppa/homebrew, you should see an upgrade available.## Feedback
