Great to see this is getting some interest. I'm one of the authors of HoloViews and put together that initial (and poor) attempt at a Julia integration. If someone is interested in developing this further, I'd be glad to provide assistance in putting together a proper interface, although I'm afraid I won't be much help on the Julia end.
