[JPP-Devel] RoadMatcher

2008-02-11 Thread A. Craig West
Has anybody looked at getting the RoadMatcher and the JCS working in
the openjump codebase? I've seen occasional mention of it, but so far
it doesan't appear to be of much concern to anybody. How much interest
would there be in somebody (ie. me, if nobody else is able) doing
this?

Re: [JPP-Devel] Jython plugin doesn't work and a question

2008-02-11 Thread Sunburned Surveyor
Peppe,

The JTSWarped Library that I have been working on will do exactly what
you need. If you are interested in using the library, or in just
stealing some of the code, please let me know.

 Hi Stefan,

I don't need it urgently. I can use the measure angle tool to calculate the
 azimuth.I
wander if this could be an interesting tool to add to next OJ: I found I
have always to calculate azimuth of something on my maps (direction of flow
steam, slope, landslide directions,etc..) I image an azimuth toolwould be
 useful for geologists :-)

 Ciao

 Peppe

[JPP-Devel] Jython plugin doesn't work and a question

2008-02-11 Thread Giuseppe Aruta
Hi all,
  1) Larry's Jython plugin seems not working with latest 2 version available of
OJ Nightly Build. I did not test with older versions. It works, of coarse, with
OJ stble version (1.2D).

  2) Does OpenJUMP can calculate the Azimuth of line between 2 points (point 0
and Poit 1)? Do we have a tool or dows somebody know a way?

  Thank you in advance

  Peppe

mhm.. that's kind of strange. But I have nver used it.

I have programmed such a function a while ago. But it is not accessable
in a menu. Do you need it urgently?
Btw. there is also the edit segments tool from the mouse menu (copied
from ISA tools). It calculates angels, but I think not azimuths.
