Re: [JPP-Devel] Error trying to connect to svn-repository
Nils, I have the same error as shown your screenshot with http://jump-pilot.svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/jump-pilot/.This is normal because url is wrong. On the other hand it works well with Edgar url. It could be proxy, but the error message in your screenshot don't says that. Could you retry please? Or else you can get source by the command svn co https://jump-pilot.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/jump-pilot/core/trunk oj, then import oj from eclipse. You can use maven if you prefer. In this case you must install m2 plugins via Software updates. Pierre-yves. -- This SF.net email is sponsored by Sprint What will you do first with EVO, the first 4G phone? Re: [JPP-Devel] Error trying to connect to svn-repository
You can try the url directly in your browser. If it works there then you should find out why not in eclipse, what is the difference in settings.. something like that. Are you forced to use a proxy? What internet connection are you using? good luck ede On 22.07.2010 09:33, Nils Kuhn wrote: Hi ede, same error with your url. Essentially rxtx is patched to autoload the native libraries needed for win32/64 and linux32/64 and allow the user to easily supply another version for other os's. I hereby ask whoever is interested to help or just to have oj gps support to check if the serial device access is working in his/her platform. I tested Windows XP 32 and Debian Linux 32 already. Therefore please enter the gpstest folder and issue the following commands in the command line / terminal of your os. java -cp path/to/gpstest.jar org.dinopolis.gpstool.gpsinput.SerialPortList if working gives you a list of available serial ports. On success and with a gps mouse at hand you might try to receive raw data from it. java -jar path\to\gpstest.jar (gives a list of all parameters) e.g. java -jar path\to\gpstest.jar -d COM4 --rawdata COM4 might be /dev/ttyS1 on linux or else on other os's. Actually you could simply try to connect each detected port from SerialPortList with connected serial gps receiver. You might have to adjust the serial parameters though. Eventually: When you want to try Mac OS or others, please do the following. Go to http://rxtx.qbang.org/wiki/index.php/Download and try to find the native library for your os. Put it in gpstool/rxtx/ . Now run the tests above. Please send your findings and output to the devel list (jump-pilot-devel@lists.sourceforge.net) or directly to me please. Re: [JPP-Devel] the symbol configuration ui
No. I think that would require a redesign. And ArcGIS has now a total separate styling engine that stores display rules and all this. But at the end I export my drawings to svg and then make maps and figures in illustrator. stefan maven apache wrote: Hi: I want to know if there is someone have the experience about make the symbol configuration dialog for user just like the arcgis(shown in the annex)? -- This SF.net email is sponsored by Sprint What will you do first with EVO, the first 4G phone? I know that there are different needs, but for what I am using length/area measurement tool I would like to have these features - Length measurement tool should show the total length and the length of the last leg, both in real time. - Area measurement tool should show the area and the perimeter of the measured area in real time. Length of the last leg would be a good addition. OJ measurement tool cannot show the length of the last leg, nor the perimeter of an area. It does show nice the angle of the last leg but this far I have not had any use for this feature. I also notised that the measurement tool gives faulty results if snapping to features is enabled. The measument tool is obviously using the mouse coordinates for calculations, but it does not update the coordinates if vertex gets snapped to something after mouse click. This is easy to demonstrate by showing the grid and activating the Snap to grid option and then measuring areas of some rectangular areas. I have been thinking that as an alternative for the ad-hoc measurement tool there could perhaps be another measurement tool would create automatically a special measurement layer somehow in a similar way than the note tool creates the Notes layer now. This way it could be possible to measure net areas and total perimeters of polygons with holes, measure several features, edit the measurements, show the results on screen as labels or under the tooltip etc. -Jukka Rahkonen- Matthias Scholz wrote: Hi Stefan, I agree you from your point of view (measure of lines), but my point of view was for measure of areas.
