[JPP-Devel] SF project migration

2011-12-28 Thread Stefan Steiniger
Hi all,

just a note,
in the next months SourceForge will migrate the projects (all?) to
Allura and the project page will look like this:

https://sourceforge.net/p/allura/wiki/Allura%20Wiki/

of course.. we are not talking about the project webpage itself.
Though, I wonder if and how they are going to migrate the wikis (which
may be a mess).

Re: [JPP-Devel] Coordinates from X and Y

2011-12-28 Thread Stefan Steiniger
Hei all,

so reading this, I am actually wondering if we should use the Blog on SF
for exactly this tye of info?

As soon as someone is asking kind of "FAQ", we should post the reply on
the Blog, and hence use it quasi as a *Tips & Tricks* section.

also .. new plugins that are available could be announced there.
The advantage would be that the OJ blog could be better connected with
internet search machines, than a wiki (also replacing the news section
on the wiki?)

any other 2 cents?

[JPP-Devel] mapgen toolbox

2011-12-28 Thread Stefan Steiniger
Hi Michael,

nothing new unfortunately. Just the decision to have all sources on SF -
as some algorithms were in a library, with no code delivered.

no plans for new releases either

Re: [JPP-Devel] Matching PlugIn for OpenJUMP

2011-12-28 Thread Stefan Steiniger
Hei Michael,

i) I can't download the plugin - did you remove it meanwhile for fixing
something?
ii) is it based on some other matching plugin for JUMP?
iii) should we move the plugins of the folder "more plugins" folder into
the general plugins folder (= one level up) ?

cheers,

Re: [JPP-Devel] LeftClickFilter isRightMouseButtonUsed()

2011-12-28 Thread Stefan Steiniger
Hei Matthias,

will be interesting to see what happens on my mac
as the mouse officially has only one button ;)

when trying to look into the ctrl key issue for mac (normally the mouse
right context menu on mac should be displayed with CTRL but in OJ it
comes up with "APPLE") - then I hardly understood how it all functions
in OJ with key presses (& key releases) etc...
So I may not be of much help except for testing on mac.

Matthias,

Thanks for making the change. Are you talking about modifications to a
method in the CursorTool class? Let me know and I will take a quick
peek at the changes.

Thanks.

we could explore some ather classes as the sextante tool window that always
stays on the top of other windows, or Kosmo project window.

Re: [JPP-Devel] Feature Info Tool and Layer Attributes Statistics

2011-12-28 Thread Giuseppe Aruta
Hi Matthias,
thanks for this information. When I  changed the position of Attribute Tab, I
added the Layer Statistics plugin as a test.
Probabily, when two o more layer tables are opened, Layer Statistics plugin
tries to read on all and get a NullPointerException error.
I will try to solve this problem, meanwhile I am going to remove it ("hide" on
attribute tab plugin) and check other solutions.
I am out of my house and I don't have any computer/internet/Eclipse, so I think
I will commit this change after 30th dec.
I see also you did some changes on this way. Expecially on the space between
two o more features (from different layers) on feature info tool. Thanks.

Oggetto: [JPP-Devel] Feature Info Tool and Layer Attributes Statistics

Hi Giuseppe,

your past changes on the AttributeTab have a problem. If you select
fetures on more than one layers with the Feature Info Tool an press the
Layer Attributes Statistics Button, you get an NullPointerException in
the StatisticOverViewPlugIn.execute() method because layer is null :-(
