Re: [j-nsp] SRX NIC Teaming
From my experience, yes to two ports on one chassis to form a LACP. Will not work if you trying to create a LACP across two difference SRXs even if it's in Cluster mode. -bn 0216331C On Tue, Aug 28, 2012 at 3:47 AM, Wan Tajuddin Wan Hussin eazy_...@yahoo.com wrote: Hi Expert, Just wondering, Since SRX650 have a built in ethernet switching when in cluster mode. Sorry, I misunderstood your question first time. Aggregating ports from different SRXes in cluster, do not works. Regards, Misha ___ juniper-nsp mailing list juniper-nsp@puck.nether.net https://puck.nether.net/mailman/listinfo/juniper-nsp
Re: [j-nsp] SRX NIC Teaming
However, if the teaming you want to achieve is purely for redundancy, ..This can be enforced on the Server-side (in some type of active/passive control on the server's OS), and hence you can just make the SRX's use normal access ports. Weve done this for our VMWare clusters; as well as for individual servers which support this. The server controls which ethernet cable it forwards/listens to. Nothing much to do on the switch/srx/ex side of the equation. - Ck. On 2012-08-30, at 4:18 AM, Misha Gzirishvili wrote: Sorry, I misunderstood your question first time.
