ಲಕ್ಷ್ಮೀ ಅನ್ನುವುದು ಈಕಾರಾಂತ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಲಿಂಗ ಶಬ್ದ. ಕನ್ನಡದಲ್ಲಿ ತದ್ಭವ ಆದಾಗ ಲಕ್ಷ್ಮಿ
ಆಗುತ್ತದೆ. ವ್ಯಾಕರಣ ನಿಯಮದಂತೆ ಆ ಪದವನ್ನು ಬಿಡಿಸಿ ಬರೆದಾಗ ಈ ಪ್ರತ್ಯಯ ಸೇರುತ್ತದೆ.

ಎಂಬ ಅರ್ಥ ಬರುವ ಲಕ್ಷ ಎನ್ನುವ ಧಾತು.
ಮುಂದೆ ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಮ್+ ಈ ಎಂಬ ಪ್ರತ್ಯಯಗಳು ಸೇರಿ ಲಕ್ಷ್ಮೀ ಎಂಬ ನಾಮಪದ
ಸಿದ್ಧಿಸುತ್ತದೆ. ಇದು ಸಂಧಿ ಪದವಲ್ಲ.

ಲಕ್ಷ್ಮೀ ಪದವು ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತದ ಈಕಾರಾಂತ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಲಿಂಗ ಪದ. ಅದು ಕನ್ನಡಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದಾಗ ಲಕ್ಷ್ಮಿ
ಆಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಈ ಪದವನ್ನು ಬಿಡಿಸಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಿಲ್ಲ. ಲಕ್ಷ+ ಮ್ + ಈ
ಲಕ್ಷ ಎನ್ನುವ ಪದಕ್ಕೆ ಮ್, ಮತ್ತು ಈ ಪ್ರತ್ಯಯಗಳು ಸೇರಿ ಲಕ್ಷ್ಮೀ ಪದವುಂಟಾಗಿದೆ.
ಲಕ್ಷ ಎಂದರೆ ದರ್ಶನೀಯ ಎಂದರ್ಥ.

ಹಳೆಗನ್ನಡದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಚಂಗಳ್ ಎಂದು ಕವಿಗಳು ಉಪಯೋಗಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಕಚ ಎಂದರೆ ಕೂದಲು. ಹೊಸಗನ್ನಡದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೂದಲುಗಳು ಪದ ಉಪಯೋಗಿಸಬಹುದು.

ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯವಾಗಿ ನಾಮಪದಗಳಿಗೆ ವಿರುದ್ಧಾರ್ಥ ಹೇಳುವುದು ಕಷ್ಟಸಾಧ್ಯ  ಗುಣವಾಚಕ, ಅವ್ಯಯಗಳಿಗೆ
ವಿರುದ್ಧಾರ್ಥ  ಸುಲಭವಾಗಿ ಹೇಳಬಹುದು.
ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತ ಪದದ ನಾಮಪದಗಳಿಗೆ ಉಪಸರ್ಗಗಳನ್ನು ಸೇರಿಸಿದಾಗ ವಿರುದ್ಧಾರ್ಥ ಸುಲಭವಾಗಿ

ಕನ್ನಡ ಪದಗಳಿಗೆ ಇಂತಹ ಅನುಕೂಲ ಇಲ್ಲ.
ಸಹಜವಾಗಿರುವ ವಿರುದ್ಧಾರ್ಥ ಸಿಗುತ್ತದೆ.
ಹಸಿವು ಅಚ್ಚಕನ್ನಡ ಪದ. ಹಾಗಾಗಿ ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ವಿರುದ್ಧಾರ್ಥ ಹಸಿವಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದೇ ಹೇಳಬಹುದು. ಹಸಿವು
ಹೊಟ್ಟೆಗೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಹೊಟ್ಟೆಭರ್ತಿ  ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವೇ ಪರಿಶೀಲಿಸಿ.

ವಿದೇಶಿ.
ಕನ್ನಡದಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಲಾಯಿತಿ ಎಂದು ಬಳಸಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಪದ ಸ್ವದೇಶಿ ಎಂದು
ಬಳಸಬಹುದಾಗಿದೆ.

ತೀರ್ಥ ಎಂದರೆ ಶಾಸ್ತ್ರ, ಯಾಗ, ಪುಣ್ಯಕ್ಷೇತ್ರ, ಗುರು, ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠ ಜಲ, ಮುಂತಾದ ಅನೇಕ
ಅರ್ಥಗಳಿವೆ. ತೀರ್ಥರೂಪ ಎಂದರೆ ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠರಾದ ಎನ್ನುವ ಅರ್ಥ ಇದೆ. ಹಾಗಾಗಿ ತೀರ್ಥರೂಪ
ಪದವನ್ನು ಹಿರಿಯರಾದವರಿಗೆ ಬಳಸಬಹುದು.

ವಿಧವೆ ಪದದ ವಿರುದ್ಧಾರ್ಥ ಮುತ್ತೈದೆ ಸರಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದರೂ ಅದು ಕನ್ನಡ ಪದ.
ವಿಧವೆ ಪದಕ್ಕೆ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಧವೆ ಎನ್ನುವುದು ಇದೆ. ಹಾಗೂ ಕಾವ್ಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅವಿಧವಾ ಪದವು
ಬಳಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬಂದಿದೆ. ಮಹಾನ್ ಕವಿಗಳು ತಮ್ಮ ಕಾವ್ಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಬಳಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ವಿಧವೆ ×ಅವಿಧವೆ
ಬಳಸಬಹುದಾಗಿದೆ.

ಇಕ್ ವರ್ಣಗಳ ಮುಂದೆ ಅಸವರ್ಣ ಸ್ವರಗಳು
ಬಂದಾಗ, ಅವುಗಳಿಗೆ ಯಣ್ ವರ್ಣಗಳು
ಆದೇಶವಾಗಿ ಬರುತ್ತದೆ. ಇದನ್ನು ಯಣ್ಸಂಧಿ ಎಂದು ಕರೆಯಲಾಗಿದೆ.
ಇಕ್ ವರ್ಣ ಅಂದರೆ ಇ.ಉ ಋ
ಯಣ್ ವರ್ಣ ಅಂದರೆ ಯ ವ ರ
ಉದಾ=
ಜಾತಿ +ಅತೀತ=ಜಾತ್ಯತೀತ
ವಿ + ಆಸ = ವ್ಯಾಸ
ಸು+ಆಗತ=ಸ್ವಾಗತ
ಗುರು+ ಆಜ್ಞೆ=ಗುರ್ವಾಜ್ಞೆ
ಪಿತೃ+ ಆರ್ಜಿತ=ಪಿತ್ರಾರ್ಜಿತ
ಮಾತೃ+ ಅಂಶ=ಮಾತ್ರಂಶ.
