[frameworks-kactivities] [Bug 359244] Activities: When I stop my "Music" activity, I want the music player to stop playing music
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=359244 --- Comment #1 from Ivan Čukić --- What music player do you use? Does it stay in the task-bar, or it shows an icon in the system tray. [kwin] [Bug 359251] kwin Effect "Dim Inactive" flickers in steam menus
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=359251 --- Comment #1 from Martin Gräßlin --- I don't have steam installed, but that sounds like a bug in steam. A menu should be an override redirect window and not an actual window which can be active. xwininfo probably doesn't work because steam grabs the pointer. You can though use xwininfo -tree -root to get all windows. That way you should be able to find the window and also use xprop on it (accepts id). If you can get xprop of a steam menu please attach it to this bug report. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

This doesn't allow one to export to KML images larger than 99 pixels. I suppose that maximum value for ImageSizeInput_ should be set explicitly. [valgrind] [Bug 359249] New: valgrind unable to load 64-bit linux executable linked with -mcmodel=medium

[akregator] [Bug 359191] aKregator does not honor LC_TIME / date and time in wrong format
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=359191 --- Comment #4 from Arek Guzinski --- ok, i see the problem now... > I saw in your screenshot that all is in english so it's the problem. yes, it is. and it should be, because, for several reasons, i prefer english as my interface language. However, i really really hate the US/UK date format, which is why i set my time to de_DE (btw: yes, i live in germany) i had a quick look at the dolphin source code, where QLocale is used, which displays the date the way i want it (dd.mm.). But QLocale does not support anything like KLocale::FancyShortDate. As FancyShortDate uses words, it seems to get its locale settings from the LANGUAGE variable, instead of LC_TIME. i think the correct way to handle this would be to use LANGUAGE for the words and LC_TIME for the rest (as, i believe, it was in kde 4) which is, of course, an issue for the kf5 libraries and not a bug in akregator. I'll file a report there. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[kdenlive] [Bug 359247] New: 15.13.0 git master - Consider pre-set layouts along with Custom layouts? (mock-ups included)
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=359247 Bug ID: 359247 Summary: 15.13.0 git master - Consider pre-set layouts along with Custom layouts? (mock-ups included) Product: kdenlive Version: unspecified Platform: Compiled Sources OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: wishlist Priority: NOR Component: User Interface Assignee: j...@kdenlive.org Reporter: jesse.dub...@gmail.com One convenient feature for users might be to have pre-set layouts in addition to the option to customize them? Each user has their own workflow, and the interface plays a part in that. Also, one LARGE benefit, if layouts are styled and named after other mainstream editor layouts, is that users will begin to associate Kdenlive with one of the Big Players in the Film Industry. There's power in a name, after all. If this sounds like a good idea, consider having Kdenlive's default layout (titled "Kdenlive Default"), an Adobe Premiere Pro styled layout (titled "Adobe Premiere Pro"), A Final Cut Pro layout (titled "Final Cut Pro"), and - possibly - a Shotcut-styled layout (titled "Broadcast"?... I dunno, seems to give it purpose). See mock-ups attached for examples. These wouldn't replace the custom layout feature, but instead have its own sub-menu in the "View" header menu item. Possibly labeled "Editor Layouts" or "Program Layout", or just "Layouts"? Making it seem like the primary layout modification feature will make many users feel comfortable that they're not responsible for making Kdenlive "how it should be" or "proper", etc. -- they click, choose, and go. Simple, less work, keeps the focus on editing. Anyways, for your consideration. :) Reproducible: Always Suggested while using Kdenlive 15.13.0 build from git master, Fedora 23 x64, GNOME 3.18. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=359244 Bug ID: 359244 Summary: Activities: When I stop my "Music" activity, I want the music player to stop playing music Product: kwin Version: 5.5.3 Platform: Gentoo Packages OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: activities Assignee: kwin-bugs-n...@kde.org Reporter: gen...@moin.fi Hi KDE - I'm new to activities, but I like the idea. I've defined some activities now and put some windows to activities. It's neat that all the windows of one "running" activity are hidden from view when I click on a window that belongs to a different activity. But the "stop" button on the activities doesn't work the way I expect it to. Use case: 1. I select the "Music" activity and my music player is shown. I click on "Play" so it plays some music. 2. Now I activate the "Email" activity and the email window is shown, I do stuff there. 3. Suppose my phone rings. I want to stop the music. So I go to the Activities manager and "stop" the "Music" activity (that shows as "Used a while ago"). Expected result: "Music" activity is stopped and music stops playing. Actual result: "Music" activity is shown as stopped, but the music continues playing. (The music player window is still in the task bar, too.) Maybe I haven't completely understood activities. But what is the "stop" button on the activity supposed to do, if it doesn't stop the programs that belong to the activity (and to no other activity)?
