[kdevelop] [Bug 325476] no autocomplete when doing template specialization
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=325476 --- Comment #2 from chaitanya srinivas ponnapalli --- Hi Marcel, Reproduced the steps. The autosuggestion of the method for the instance of template class does show up. Made slight change in the way the method was declared in the template class, by declaring the return type for the method. This is because as you know, a type specifier is required for all declarations in c++. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=361876 --- Comment #3 from Christian David --- We can assume that the RDBMS (aka “the database”) is probably not the issue. It goes to using laptop display as main display & HDMI as a secondary display. Weird thing is, it does use the screen positioning portion of the config & the resolution, just moves bar to other screen & HDMI screen is just black. This happens every time, so yes it is reproducible. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Let screen lock & go black (aka sleep) 2. Move mouse to wake screen up 3. Log in to unlock desktop Actual Results: HDMI is no longer primary, laptop screen becomes primary. HDMI screen doesn't have desktop background settings nor panel, nor right click functions. Expected Results: My display settings should be used where HDMI is primary & laptop is secondary. Plasma panel should be on the HDMI screen & not the laptop screen. My current work around is after unlocking the desktop log out & log back in. Everything goes back to normal until the next time the screen goes to sleep. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[krita] [Bug 351059] Krita crashes while using Brush tool, issues with genius tablet driver
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=351059 --- Comment #15 from chrisgualo --- So I rebooted the computer. Actually, turned off, disconnected from the power and then turned on again. Settings were kept! And I made sure I deleted everything, even from the registry... Could there be some other folders I am missing? Results were the same as if I hadn't rebooted. Gonna stick with pre-alpha2 for the time being. Crashes also happen with git 1f5cdac. Oh, and here is the crash I get everytime: Nombre del evento de problema:APPCRASH Nombre de la aplicación:krita.exe Versión de la aplicación:0.0.0.0 Marca de tiempo de la aplicación: Nombre del módulo con errores:wintab32.dll Versión del módulo con errores:2.1.2.1 Marca de tiempo del módulo con errores:501627db Código de excepción:c005 Desplazamiento de excepción:2ad7 Versión del sistema operativo:6.1.7601.2.1.0.256.1 Id. de configuración regional:10250 Información adicional 1:358a Información adicional 2:358afd5b9fa8ba922a0b63e492e4bc54 Información adicional 3:3624 Información adicional 4:36247068ba2c11dd969840ffe4ea7799 If it helps, when using MyPaint it doesn't crash, neither do PS, Pencil (no pressure), Alchemy (no pressure) or OpenToonz. Doing a search on Google for wintab32.dll, it appears to be not only a problem with tablets but also with wacom. Or is it a generic name companies use for each of their drivers files? I wish I could be more helpful. Is this https://forum.kde.org/viewtopic.php?f=281&t=119719 a way of debugging on Windows? [krita] [Bug 351059] Krita crashes while using Brush tool, issues with genius tablet driver
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=351059 --- Comment #14 from chrisgualo --- Well, I didn't give up and tested all the pre-alphas and the latest release, because it did seem weird that the first pre-alpha was working with no issues and yesterday it wasn't. So, I uninstalled the krita version I had -good old 2.9.6-, tested pre-alpha, set Dark theme, painted a little, everything went fine, no crashes (only bug is that Brush panel appeared empty, had to select the drop-down menu and they're there). Then started pre-alpha2 to test. Everything worked fine as well, same issue with the Brush panel showing empty... BUT! It kept the settings I had on the pre-alpha: theme color and layout (settings I deleted from AppData\Roaming\krita). Does krita keeps settings on RAM or on the registry? Yet, no brush crashes on this pre-alpha either. Now, pre-alpha3... I got several results here (and I do think RAM has something to do). After clearing the folder on AppData, created new document, tried to paint and immediate crash. Second try, I could paint, but there was no pressure sensitivity. Third try, crashed before fully launching (I had the pen right next to the tablet). Fourth: could paint a little, no pressure sensitivity, crashed after I switched window to write here and went back to krita. ALSO: layout and dark theme selected on first pre-alpha were kept on all these pre-alpha3 tests. Brush styles do show by default, no longer appear empty. And finally, latest build, krita-master-f38b47e-x64. Again layout and dark theme are kept. Brushes do not show, have to use drop-down menu. No pressure sensitivity. Crashed when I tried to paint. Tried to clean RAM using %windir%\system32\rundll32.exe advapi32.dll,ProcessIdleTasks, and it worked fined, no crashes, until I came back to the window (and also put the pen away and returned to the tablet later). Don't really think it is a driver issue since krita 2.9.6, pre-alpha and pre-alpha2 do work with it, and it hasn't been updated, right? I'm gonna restart the computer and see what happens if I open a brand-new krita-master-f38b47e-x64... -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=362053 Bug ID: 362053 Summary: Add a "switch" for Akonadi and more Product: Akonadi Version: unspecified Platform: Gentoo Packages OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: wishlist Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: kdepim-b...@kde.org Reporter: inf...@openaliasbox.org Many users don't need Akonadi running all the time; we aren't constantly receiveng or sending emails nor using any KDEPIM thing, but those 300 - 400 MB of RAM Akonadi uses would be very useful for the apps we work with most of the time; when I'm working I'm using 2 or 3 apps, don't want any other "parasiting" resources nor annoying me with inopportune notifications; I think most peoplpe who use their computers to work have similar habits. So, it would be nice to add a few of things to Akonadi: - A "switch" to turn it off just with a click, an "akonadictl stop/start", but graphical. It could live in the system tray, for example. Or stop Akonadi after x time since the last Akonadi dependent program has been closed. This should be configurable, of course. - A KCM module to let the users configure if they want Akonadi to be launced by default when logiin in their sessions or want it to only wake up when they click said switch. The previously suggested autostart configurator should be in this same KCM module, I think, BTW. Reproducible: Always -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[kde] [Bug 362050] New: No version information available via interface.
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=362050 Bug ID: 362050 Summary: No version information available via interface. Product: kde Version: unspecified Platform: Fedora RPMs OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: unassigned-b...@kde.org Reporter: halfcountp...@gmail.com This bug report form includes a section which says "copy the version text from the product's Help | About menu". I presume this means the "Systems Settings->Help" menu; I am not aware of any other. However, there are two "About" submenus under that "Help" on this up-to-date Fedora 23 system. One is "About Systems Settings", which does have version information available (5.5.5), which obviously does not correspond to the choices here. The other one is "About KDE", which has 4 tabs (including one with a link to this site), that include a number of paragraphs of information, a nice big mascot logo, etc. but *no where is there any version information*. >From checking via the system package manager, I would guess the version in relation to the ones listed above is 4.14.18 (although 4.14.1 is the last one listed in this form). I do not understand why System Settings -> Help -> About KDE does not include any version information that might be useful in, e.g., reporting bugs. [plasma4] [Bug 267277] configurable delay for autohide/show of panels
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=267277 eemantsal changed: What|Removed |Added CC||inf...@openaliasbox.org --- Comment #57 from eemantsal --- In KDE/Plasma 5 there's the same design mistake that the oroginal poster reported 5 years ago: the panel shows up inmediately when you pass the pointer a couple of milimeters from the bottom border of the screen or you touch the border with the pointer. Is a real pain in the ass: when you are moving your pointer by the lower area of your creen there shows up the panel every now and then, and you have to move your mouse away, wait for some tenths of second for the panel to hide agan, and come back with your mouse, but being very careful for not going too near to the bottom of your screen and make the panel show up again. I like the idea proposed by Brandon Garlock in december of 2013: not to show the panel until one really touches the bottom border. Obviously it's not the unique solution, a simple delay would be another. We can configure delays for the upper screen border actions (show grid, window, etc), why not for the panel in the lower one? Is it very hard task? One would not think so, but who knows, I know nothing about programming; but anyway, I think is a serious important deffect in desktop "mechanics" design for all those users who like to use all their screen size and avoid distractions. Please reconsider it. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

The problem is that Plasma doesn't remember that size, so the next time no matter how you resized them, they will appear the same size than before and one has to repeat the process. I know that window sizes can be configured by hand, by I think that should not be necessary, the dektop should remember the users' settings in regard to this the same way the file browser remembers which view settings has established the user for each folder. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Resize some dialog window. 2. Do what you wanted t do and close it. 3. Reopen it, the size you wanted has been ignored. [digikam] [Bug 355831] MySQL Schema Improvements
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=355831 --- Comment #66 from Richard Mortimer --- (In reply to swatilodha27 from comment #63) > Hello Richard. > > I'm Swati, currently working on digiKam MySQL database support project. I > read this open bug for MySQL Schema improvements and thought of a plausible > solution to handle the tags (rename, move or delete) > > An image can have many tags and a tag can belong to multiple image. So to > handle this many-many relationship between the two, we could take use of the > following tables: > > Table: Image > Columns: Image_ID, Image_Title > > Table: Tag > Columns: Tag_ID, Tag_Title > > Table: Image_Tag > Columns: Tag_ID, Image_ID > > Setting the Image_ID and Tag_ID as foreign keys would help in linking the > tables. > Foreign keys have already been added here. CONSTRAINT ImageTags_Images FOREIGN KEY (imageid) REFERENCES Images (id) ON DELETE CASCADE ON UPDATE CASCADE, CONSTRAINT ImageTags_Tags FOREIGN KEY (tagid) REFERENCES Tags (id) ON DELETE CASCADE ON UPDATE CASCADE, Without seeing a specific error I cannot tell what the problem may be with rename, move or delete. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[digikam] [Bug 355831] MySQL Schema Improvements
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=355831 --- Comment #65 from Richard Mortimer --- (In reply to Felix Leif Keppmann from comment #62) > > currently I face the issue of not being able to completely delete > directories. Directories are deleted on disk, but not deleted from the > database, i.e., obsolete ghost directories remain in Digikam's album tree. > > Seems to be related to failing MySQL queries: > > "UPDATE Albums SET albumRoot=0, relativePath=? WHERE id=?;" > Error messages: "QMYSQL3: Unable to execute statement" "Cannot add or update > a child row: a foreign key constraint fails (`digikam_core`.`Albums`, > CONSTRAINT `Albums_AlbumRoots` FOREIGN KEY (`albumRoot`) REFERENCES > `AlbumRoots` (`id`) ON DELETE CASCADE ON UPDATE CASCADE)" 1452 2 > Bound values: (QVariant(QString, "1-/test"), QVariant(int, 2)) > I think the issue here is that the database is trying to use albumRoot=0 to mark the album as being disconnected/deleted. However with referential integrity set this now is not allowed. This seems to be happening in CoreDB::makeStaleAlbum(int albumID) The lifecycle of stale albums needs considering a little more. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[muon] [Bug 362047] New: Files from properly loaded ppa's do not appear in muon for installation!
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=362047 Bug ID: 362047 Summary: Files from properly loaded ppa's do not appear in muon for installation! Product: muon Version: unspecified Platform: Kubuntu Packages OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: muon Assignee: echidna...@kubuntu.org Reporter: stgpar...@yahoo.com CC: aleix...@kde.org, sit...@kde.org After adding several ppa's in muon version 5.6.0, the packages for those ppa's FAIL to load for installation from muon. If you check the sources via muon, the ppa's are listed. The packages just never show up even if you update the repositories. This is NOT just muon related. It also happens in muon-discover. You can still load the ppa packages from the CLI however. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Open muon 2.Add ppa either from within muon or via CLI 3.Update muon Actual Results: I've added four ppa's. I've checked that they were properly loaded from both the CLI, muon, and muon discover. ALL show that the sources are listed in the apt.conf.d folder with appropriate keys. However, every time I open muon or muon discover, packages from these four ppa's are not show. The following are the loaded ppa's: ppa:danielrichter2007/grub-customizer ppa:webupd8team/java ppa:linrunner/tlp ppa:videolan/stable-daily Where I'm not seeing the packages are from webupd8team and grub-customizer namely. Expected Results: What I expect is for packages in properly loaded ppa's to show up in muon or muon discover. Discovered running Kubuntu 16.04 LTS in VirtualBox prior to it's release. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
[kdf] [Bug 361723] kdf in kf5 does not show all mounted compared to kdf in kde4
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=361723 --- Comment #5 from Yoann Laissus --- Sorry for the delay. As I suspected, KDF probably don't parse correctly your df output. Anyway, parsing data from command outputs isn't reliable at all. I just start to port KDF to use Solid and KIO to get devices and space informations. It should fix all your issues (and a lot of other bug reports). I'll give you some news in the next days ! -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
