Just a doubt, would a workaround of changing the way Markers are displayed
work? As in maybe a way to configure Markers to appear at the top of the
timeline just like guides do. Just a thought... :)

the shift + left click (and drag) is used to box select multiple clips while
the ctrl + left click lets you cherry pick the ones you want. it makes sense.

Toggling "show hidden files" only affects the right pane.  

Giving focus to the left pane makes no difference, after showing hidden files,
it switches focus automatically to the right, and then toggles that pane.  

Fresh install, default settings.  I see no option to change this behavior

Apologies if this is miscategorized, I wasn't sure where to put it as there is
no kfontinst category.

I ran into a number of issues trying to install fonts. I believe it has to do
with being unable to properly install multiple .otf fonts at once.

These were my steps:

* Downloaded this font pack: http://www.1001fonts.com/digitalstrip-font.html
* Extracted to /home/me/Downloads
* In Dolphin, CTRL selected all 3 .OTF files
* Right Click, Install, chose to install System-wide
* After typing password, got an error message (I forgot to jot down what it
said, but it basically said installation failed)
* So I tried doing it one-by-one. 
* First font said "already installed".  Second font installed successfully. 
Third font, the installation dialog box with the progress bar perpetually
remained on my desktop for over an hour.. unable to cancel or close. 
* Checked running processes in htop, there were two kfontinst processes stuck
and I had to force kill them.

If it makes any difference (doubtful), I had Krita open in the background at
the same time.

I tried on Windows with a sample code to show a picture through QGraphicsView,
it works on Windows perfect, but not on Linux. I think this is the issue of Qt.

I managed to work around the limitation with QQmlListProperty having to be a
property by using QQmlExpression. I also use a shared context as the parent of
each declarative script's individual context so that workspace can be shared.
Perhaps the "KWin" global should also be placed in that shared context, this
would mimic how the javascript version works. That can be handled in a
different commit anyway.

The error is "Could not connect to display %s" (%s is read from the X11 DISPLAY
environment variable).

Could you please check if that variable really contains the name of a valid X11
display? The usual value is "DISPLAY=:0", but depending on your configuration,
other values might be valid.

I've got this working now except:

Q_INVOKABLE QQmlListProperty clientList();

Using that `workspace.clientList().length` doesn't work right (nor does
indexing). I have to use:

Q_PROPERTY(QQmlListProperty clientList READ clientList)

And access it via `workspace.clientList.length`

I can submit the code as it is for a review, maybe there's a way to make the
former work.

If it's deemed best to keep things as they currently are, feel free to close
this bug with "wontfix".

Alternatively, maybe there can be a button in the Properties Widget that can
change the order of the stack? By default set to "Top-to-bottom", but
left-clicking would enable the button and switch it to "Bottom-to-top"? Just
brainstorming, here.

Justed tested and confirmed bug still present on Kdenlive git master 16.11.70,
Ubuntu 16.10 x64, Unity 7.5.0, KDE Frameworks 5.26.0, Qt 5.6.1, MLT 6.3.0.

When playing back in the Clip Monitor, the audio meter seems to be in sync with
the audio playback; the sound peaks when the meters peak, etc. However, the
video still moves faster than the audio -- the lipsync and sound effects during
the fight scene in this video don't line up.

Hi. I new to KDE. 
(I came from Cinnamon, XFCE)
I like Plasma, but some things are... confusing...

I do not like "single click" in file manager, and I wanted to change it to
traditional "double click".
I spent half and hour trying to find this option in Dolphin Settings Menu. 
Then I went to Google and it told me, that I should go to System Settings ->
Input Devices -> Mouse -> Double click to open files and folders... Oh, God...
It is so unnatural, unlogic... I think if user want to change the way he open
files and folders in FM, he must find it in FM.

But I was even more confused, when I notice that Icons in System Settings was
affected by this feature to. 
To open item is SS (like "Desktop Behavior") i need to double click it to, like
a folder icon in FM!

Ok, I understand why "double click" feature placed in SS now... Because it
affects not only items in FM, but other items in the system.
But, please, make two separate modes for "clicking" - one for opening files and
folders in Dolphin (and place it in Dolphin Settings), other - for opening
items in System Settings window (and place it in "Configure" tab that is at top
of SS window)

I wish to open files and folders in FM with double click, but I want to open
items in System Settings with single click.

Thanks for the feedback, all. Here's a link to download a sample file made in

Adding an effect and preview-rendering the file above in Kdenlive will produce
