[plasmashell] [Bug 372812] Changing the volume with the wheel switches open windows
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=372812 Ignacio R. Morelle changed: What|Removed |Added CC||shadowm2...@gmail.com --- Comment #2 from Ignacio R. Morelle --- I'm using Plasma 5.8.4 on Debian sid as it landed there yesterday and I also getdthis issue when using the scroll wheel on the KMix icon, which makes it actually quite unusable. I also notice that accidentally using the scroll wheel on certain native Plasma 5 widgets that do not handle it (the Networks and Clipboard icons) triggers the same behavior. Plasma's own PulseAudio-based audio volume icon (which I don't normally use) seems unaffected -- perhaps it's because it handles its own wheel events? In previous 5.8.x versions, using the wheel on the Show Hidden Icons arrow or the tiny empty space between tray icons also triggered a desktop switch, which I personally found a bit annoying and counterintuitive as there's a separate Pager widget for this kind of thing. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[dolphin] [Bug 368671] [Feature request] Enable item selection on mouseover || Option to toggle file selection by hovering
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=368671 --- Comment #2 from dev...@t-online.de --- Sorry, the last comment was actually not intended as I wanted to edit the first comment and don't know how to edit... Anyway, I will try to make it as clear as possible. As an ex-windows user, I got used to selecting files by hovering,(threshold adjustable) so that there is no need to click or double click in order to get a file/folder selected. And more items can be un/selected by Ctrl+Click... With Dolphin it's different, if you want to un/select an item, one has to click the (+) and (-) so that you need to be a "sniper" to achieve that. I think some options to customize this would be very helpful. This leads to a second problem by the way. Dolphin has IMHO the bad habit when hovering an item. I mean the info shown on the bottom bar when the mouse cursor is on a file disappears very quickly, so that one needs to hover the file again and again or select it to get that info. Why the info is not shown as long as the file is hovered?? I think this point is related to the first one because the file info shown on the bottom bar is only persistent if the file is selected. Hopefully I described it clear enough that everyone can understand as am not a native english speaker. Thanks. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

This way it is very intuitive and reasonable. As regards the errors during 'make dist' build you encountered, they are most probably connected with missing packages for documentation build. See comments in docs/README which lists some distributions and the required packages. I will be happy to test 'make dist' for you on Solaris which is working as well. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

A remote share (owncloud) mounted with davfs2 seems to be treated as local filesystem. Therfore the setting "don't create thumbnails for remote files bigger than.." is not honored and previews of files and folders are being created. Deactivating folder previews works as quickfix for the critical situations but files bigger than 10 MB still completely stall dolphin. The davfs2 option "gui_optimize" also improves the situation a little bit but the problem remains. Also giving the thumbnailcreator more power did not really help. /usr/share/kservices5/thumbnail.protocol maxInstances=4 Entering any folder that contains even very small videos almost kills dolphin. https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=372831 --- Comment #3 from Mathieu --- I just tried on the 5.4.0 appimage, and yes I can reproduce the crash. [marble] [Bug 372843] New: Voice navigation improperly configured for audio output (Instructions passed to phonon instead of file URL)
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=372843 Bug ID: 372843 Summary: Voice navigation improperly configured for audio output (Instructions passed to phonon instead of file URL) Product: marble Version: unspecified Platform: Compiled Sources OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: marble-b...@kde.org Reporter: rinaldor...@gmail.com Target Milestone: --- Overview: Instead of audio file url, the instruction is being passed to the phonon output and this makes it not play the voice instructions. I think this is actually a feature bug which directly hinders the voice navigation ability of marble. Build date: Today, on Linux. (Compiled from source in GitHub, KDE/marble - master branch) Bug location: For your notice, https://github.com/KDE/marble/blob/master/src/plugins/render/routing/AudioOutput.cpp This is the source file where the potential bug resides. In line 87 as of now. For convenience, void AudioOutputPrivate::playInstructions() { setupAudio(); if ( m_output ) { m_output->enqueue( QUrl::fromLocalFile( m_voiceNavigation.instruction() ) ); m_output->play(); } } VoiceNavigation.cpp gives not the url, but the instruction as per the definition in https://github.com/KDE/marble/blob/master/src/lib/marble/routing/VoiceNavigationModel.cpp - line 407 as of now. QString VoiceNavigationModel::instruction() const { return d->m_announcementText; } Expected output: Audio instructions need to played as per directions. Current output: None. Audio doesn't play because audio file url is not received. Only instruction is received as such. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

Product: umbrello Version: 2.20.2 (KDE Applications 16.08.2) Platform: MS Windows OS: MS Windows Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: umbrello-de...@kde.org Reporter: ad...@arrl.net Target Milestone: --- When adding a state transition from one state to another, the transition line is always in straight line mode. There is no option to use curved lines or edit the shape of the line to draw around objects. So when there is a transition from one state to another then back again you get the two straight lines snapped on top of one another and they cannot be separated or moved. There is no ability to select the transitions in the property window so only the last added is select-able. The expectation is to be able to add more than one transition to the same object without overlap. And to have the ability to select each to edit properties. Also, it would help to be able to grab and move the transition lines much as you can do with association lines in the class diagram. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
