[ksshaskpass] [Bug 379852] ksshaskpass does not store passwords in kwallet, neither use them if they already existed
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=379852 --- Comment #2 from avlas --- Well, I just call it directly so I can use its output in a ssh connection that does not accept any other password input that is not introduced with the keyboard. So let's call the label of the ssh connection that I don't want to write the password everytime just "Label" So sth like this: sshpass -p $(ksshaskpass "Label") ssh remote_server This is the output in konsole: ksshaskpass: Unable to extract keyFile from phrase "Label" Pass a valid window to KWallet::Wallet::openWallet(). Then a dialog is opened to write the password and I check to save it in kwallet, but nothing is really saved and next time I call it, same thing happens, that is, I always have to introduce the password manually. This used to work before. I guess sth has been changed in ksshaskpass or kwallet in the course of the last months... -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[digikam] [Bug 380289] Cannot write to Albums residing on NFS
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=380289 --- Comment #3 from Klemens Dickbauer --- Thanks for the comment. I logged all output from startup and viewing it I found the problematic symptom early in the startup logs: -- digikam.database: location for "%2Fdata%2Fmaccheroni%2Fpic" is available false digikam.database: location for "/home/kdi/Bilder" is available true digikam.database: location for "/data/local/Bilder" is available true -- So it seems that for whatever reason by whatever process the path to the location has been URL encoded or something similar. When looking into digikam's settings I could confirm it (I seemed to have overlooked that issue before). So for correction I created the same location again (see screenshot) and deleted the old one. Now it took about 3hrs to scan the folder again (I hope the local database has not lost any information), but it works. You can close the ticket, but I don't know, maybe it's worth the effort to find out what caused the path encoding, and maybe there is a more efficient way to fix it than to re-create the new location. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

It has been in the same location for 5 years. The only thing I can think of is I just had a blue screen of death - and KMyMoney was open. I hope it wasn't saving at that time. It's stored on a local hard disc drive (4TB) in an encrypted container. It seems to not have any more data as the file is 32 kb and the backup one was 616 kb. I was able to merge the two together and get a file that is 620 kb -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
[kpat] [Bug 354065] kpat has a problem with redo and undo. Does not refresh the situation or does refresh with large delay.
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=354065 Tomi Leppänen changed: What|Removed |Added CC||tomi.leppa...@telemail.fi --- Comment #1 from Tomi Leppänen --- I can reproduce this. I think this is easiest to reproduce with Spider solitaire. Do some moves then undo some and redo them. Should be clearly visible. I can't take a screenshot since the problem disappears if I try to do that. My system: Fedora 25, KPatience 3.6. I tried also git master, seems to work the same. I already figured out that adding just a tiny bit of duration to the animation (from 0 to 1) makes this work, but it won't look very nice when the card just quickly flashes. There is probably a way to tell it to update that part of the screen or the whole game, but I haven't yet figured that out. Or maybe the animation code needs to be fixed. If someone wants to try the workaround I mentioned, here is a quick patch: diff --git a/dealer.cpp b/dealer.cpp index dfee5e4..eb263c8 100644 --- a/dealer.cpp +++ b/dealer.cpp @@ -1219,7 +1219,7 @@ void DealerScene::undoOrRedo( bool undo ) p->swapCards( i, index ); } -updatePileLayout( p, 0 ); +updatePileLayout( p, 1 ); } emit updateMoves( moveCount() ); I didn't make a real patch since it I don't think this is proper way to fix this, but it might provide some ideas to fix this properly. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[ark] [Bug 380984] Ark crashed while opening rar file from Dolphin
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=380984 --- Comment #2 from Peter Ped Helcmanovsky --- Doing one more test, I created tiny text file (echo "dd" > a), rar-ed it with regular rar, and tried to test/list it with unrar-free, it seemingly worked. Then I tried to actually extract it with unrar-free, and instead of text file an empty folder was created on disk with the "a" name. So the unrar-free (1:0.0.1+cvs20140707-1) looks to be completely useless, more like a trap. Was there working version back then? Will there be? Maybe ark should conflict with unrar-free package, if it's broken like this. Then again, the crash is still happening on Ark side. Uselessness of unrar-free is different topic. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[Heaptrack] [Bug 380985] New: Incorrect library used when app relies on rpath
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=380985 Bug ID: 380985 Summary: Incorrect library used when app relies on rpath Product: Heaptrack Version: unspecified Platform: Other OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: m...@milianw.de Reporter: mcgu...@kde.org Target Milestone: --- I was using heaptrack on an app that uses a Qt4 installed in /home/thomas/install/opt/qt-4-desktop. That application uses rpath to find the Qt4 libraries without the need to set LD_LIBRARY_PATH. My LD_LIBRARY_PATH actually had the Qt libraries from /usr/lib64 in them. heaptrack used the incorrect Qt from /usr/lib64, resulting in backtraces with lots of unresolved symbols. I spotted that the wrong library was used in the tooltip of the flame graph, which shows the library of an entry, As a workaround, I changed my LD_LIBRARY_PATH. However I think heaptrack should do the correct thing and follow the rpath, as otherwise the behaviour can be highly confusing if one doesn't spot the incorrect library by chance. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

Steps to reproduce: 1. Make sure your desktop layout is set to "folder view" and you have at least one folder on the desktop containing files. 2. Click the little arrow on a desktop icon to expand the folder view. 3. Move your cursor over the expanded folder view, then click the desktop. The expanded folder view will close. 4. Click and drag in empty space on the desktop to create a rectangle selection. Result: Instead of creating a rectangle selection, the icon gets dragged instead, even though the mouse cursor was nowhere near it. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
