When Importing 24 bit / 48Khz audio , the audio output after rendering and also
on playback is glitchy, adding dropout sounds and clicks to the audio. i m not

same here. a bug i remember from 0.9.8

When applying the speed effect, often the timeline gets messed up in an
unpredictable way, one thing that happened to me (on larger projects, so it is
hard to reproduce with a view steps): the effect works well, but other clips
get messed up or become invisible , but play back correctly. also vice versa:
clips added to the timeline get played back correctly, but when i render the
timeline the new clip stays black, etc.. 

@evert forster this is a helpful information! the speed effect would better
just be removed! or what i did lately: open a project with the one file you
need the speedeffect, render it out "lossless" with the speed effect and insert
it into your project.. it s cumbersome, but safes you from messing up
everything..

You probably mean %LOCALAPPDATA%\kdenliverc, %LOCALAPPDATA%\kdenlive and

Here AppData\Local is on local drive while AppData\Roaming is on network share
and they obviously do not share the same parent dir neither the same file
system, and kdenlive writes nothing in %APPDATA% (roaming), see bug #382358.

I see in your installation script (claiming to install digikam!) that you are
downloading 17.04.0-2 + FFmpeg.
Since then I have uploaded 17.04.3 build: it doesn't show the icon warning (was
assuming unix distribution), and also includes FFmpeg libs (but not x264/x265
for legal issues).
Can you try with that new version?

Also, can you try emptying

The problem might be that PPD files in the directory '/etc/cups/ppd' are
normally not readable by normal users. Can you try to make a copy of the PPD
file with the respective permissions and then try to upload it again?

I just tried to reproduce the issue on a current KDE neon but was unable to do
so.

What I did:

1) put some PDF file under a path like yours:
'$HOME/Programación/Coursera/book_272_es4.pdf'
2) Open the directory in Dolphin (KDE's file manager)
3) Open the PDF file by double-clicking on it.

For me, the file opened fine and was displayed in Okular as expected.

I am not sure whether the steps I took are exactly the same ones that 
you took.
Can you possibly give some more information about that?

Are you also using Dolphin (KDE's file manager) or possibly another file 
manager?

What distribution and what version are you using?

What is the output of the command 'locale'?

This program isn't allowing me to make smooth curved lines on the canvas. They
end up coming out jagged regardless of the brush used. It doesn't happen in the
brush preview, only in the actual canvas that will eventually be saved. I have
searched how to fix it before reporting it. I have turned off instant preview
and made sure that open gl was on like what has been suggested, but the lines
remained jagged. Unlike Literally Satan's issue, there is almost no brush lag
in my case

das Prog spectale ist bei mir ok. Eine sinnvolle Verbesserung hätte ich gerne:
Der Button "Speichern" hat rechts einen kleinen Keil für ein
Pulldown-Menü. Könntet ihr den in der Breite wenigstens verdreifachen, damit
man ihn beim Klicken trifft? Mir pssiert es oft, dass ich den Hauptbutton
"Speichern" treffe, und schon ist spectacle beendet. Das nervt
manchmal, wenn man es eilig hat.
Ich hoffe, ich konnte meinen Wünsch klar und verständlich darbieten.

but now I CAN'T WRITE. When I try to copy (overwrite) a file from Nautilus (ftp
connection) to Dolphin (smb connection), Dolphin shows "Can't connect to

I experienced the same when I updated to master with Sidebar mode and then
switched branches to 5.10 which didn't have it. It seems the fallback does not
properly re-enable the toolbar. However, now trying to replicate it I always
end up in classic view with no issue.
