   Product: kmail2
   Version: 5.6.0
  Platform: Other
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED

I might recommend heading over to the KDE forum or subreddit and seeing if
folks can help there. Those discussions might tease out some targeted and
actionable bugs that we can work on.

Screenshot of wrong rendering of tab content.

When I switch from the Application Style to the Fonts module, the module
content is not redrawn. I always see the Theme selection screen (Breeze,
Oxygen, Plastik).

When I switch from the Theme to the Buttons tab in the Application Style
module, the tab content is not redrawn properly. See attached screenshot and
notice e.g. the overlap near the decorations search bar, and the search bar
itself, which is actually from the Theme tab, and the Theme tab, which is shown
as selected while the Buttons tab should be shown as selected.

fix message after importing keys

The message was telling that no key was imported if the last column of the
IMPORT_RES line was 0, which gives the keys that were not imported or the
skipped v3 keys depending on the version of GnuPG. Change the logic to what
is was meant to show: say nothing was imported if _all_ fields are 0.

do not show message when password changing ends successfully

The transaction may as well end successfully when the user aborted the pinentry
dialogs multiple times, which is indistinguishable from a "real" success. So do
not show a probably wrong message.

I do not think it's any of the plugins in particular. With all the plugins
present, the delay is 40s. If remove half the plugins, this delay roughly
halves to 20s. If I delete another half of the plugins again, the delay halves
again to 10s. It appears to be an overhead per plugin. Do you think that's
plausible or am I seeing a pattern that's not there?

It seems like bug and that 344457,36 AED is correct, but please be carefull
here because there was other bug with currencies conversions which has been
fixed and I think it might have introduced bug here.
If you're going to fix this, then please write test case also. I'll try to find
the other bug and probably write test case for it as well.

[okular] [Bug 385468] "Missing \"Version=5\", file '/usr/share/kconf_update/okular.upd' will be skipped."

2017-10-18 Thread Matthew Dawson
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=385468

The original reason this was added was that KDE4 update scripts would get run
by KF5, creating a configuration file. Then the KDE4 migration would not run,
resulting in users losing their settings. This was put in at the time to stop
that from occurring.

Ideally, kconf_update would not create an empty configuration file for a
migration just to note the migration had been run. However, there are some
side effects to that change which make it more complicated to implement, and
thus has not yet happened.

Without fixing kconf_update, I don't want to back out the change as it still
has a good reason. I also like that all the update files now have an enforced
version header, which will make it easy to update the format in the future.
And most configuration file update scripts should now have the header if
required, so there will likely be more pain to revert it at this time.

However, you do raise the good point that this requirement is not well
communicated. That should definitely be fixed. Is there any particular place
you would have expected this information to be present?

Also, if the configuration update script is for KDE4 configuration files, you
can skip putting a Version=5 header at the top. Instead, you can have the
fully updated file migrated to the new configuration file location and start
with a fresh update script for KF5. Or continue adding to the file. Whatever
works best for okular.

Reading this again, the fact that it works in Evince--which also uses
Poppler--implies that the issue is in Okular.

Yes, it's 2017 MacBook Pro with Radeon graphics. Hardware acceleration is

Steps to reproduce:
- Drag two png files onto the Krita window (tabs mode)
- Do Save As using the original file names.
- The first save might succeed, but the second (and any additional) will never
complete.

Yes, Kmail is running. When clicking on the button, nothing happens. No entry

The notification I can find in the journal:

"New Notification: "E-Mail-Benachrichtigung" "Von: XXX \nBetreff: Re: XXX\nIn:

Even before collapsing the button does not work for me, btw

Font anti-aliasing for CJK characters in GTK programs becomes broken after my
system is upgraded to KDE Frameworks 5.37.0 using Qt 5.9.1, on NixOS
17.09.1502.19879836d1. The other relevant packages are fontconfig 2.12.1 and
freetype 2.7.1.

With font setting in figure-1, GTK setting in figure-2, it can be seen that, as
in the snapshot of Firefox shown in figure-3, CJK characters are not
anti-aliased while Latin characters are anti-aliased (labels 1 to 3) for GTK
widgets, but characters rendered by Firefox (label 4) is not affected.

Hi Ralf,
I created a new project to simulate the case and what you mentioned is correct.
the report shows the correct value.

The bug looks to appear only with old projects and files.
Please note that I am using this application since 2014 and I used different
versions with the same file. Maybe something wrong in the database stored in
the file or a scenario not covered in the new version.

What I have shared is real snapshots of my records and definitely there is a
problem which cannot be reproduced by simulating new projects.

I am not sure if I there is any utility that can decrypt the data so i can
share my file with you for analysis. if so, please let me know, or I can share
my screen with you to validate my argument your self, or we can close this bug
if there no other option.

Thanks for your efforts.

none/tests/rlimit_nofile fails because it expects setrlimit(RLIMIT_NOFILE,

succeeds. This might be a regression in glibc (or the kernel?). See

Font rendering is broken on specific widgets in specific styles after my system
is upgraded to KDE Frameworks 5.37.0 using Qt 5.9.1, on NixOS
17.09.1502.19879836d1. The other relevant packages are fontconfig 2.12.1 and
freetype 2.7.1.

With the font setting in figure-1, widget style set to `MS Windows 9x`, there
are several mis-rendering cases. Figure-2 shows that bold italic face is only
rendered correctly on title bar in Plastik. Figure-3 shows that italic face is
mis-rendered on normal widget. Figure-4 shows that bold face is mis-rendered.

If the General face is set to bold, as in figure-5, it can be seen in figure-6
that normal text is rendered bold as expected, but bold italic text is still
mis-rendered. For title bar, Plastik is still the only style in which bolt
italic face is rendered correctly, as seen in figure 7.

I tried to add a gmail account which has 2step auth with Google authenticator
codes enabled. When the oauth dialogue comes up, during the initial account
setup, I enter my credentials and finally the six digit google authenticator
code and the dialogue closes before it shows the page where I can grant
permission to akonadi to access my account. A few seconds later the oauth
window comes back and I have to do the same allover again, again, the dialogue
closes immediately after I entered the 6 digit code but before I am prompted to
grant permission to akonadi. And so it continues. Only after I disable 2 step
verification, it works, but of course that's a security whole that I would
rather see fixed.
