Ctrl + Space) are affected even when the IME is not enabled. And it's not an issue limited to just Krita, but also a bunch of other applications. The thing is that IMEs get to process all keyboard inputs before applications can do anything with them; if the IMEs handled the keyboard inputs, they are passed to the application not as raw keyboard events, but only as IME composition events if it's composition related. There probably is a way to disable the IME when the canvas is active, but we need to take care not to break any input fields and the text tools (though my impression is that IMEs do break the current text tools anyway). -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[valgrind] [Bug 387690] glfwInit() causes valgrind to crash
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=387690 --- Comment #3 from Ben Wiley--- Hey Rhys, thanks for the patch - I applied it and rebuilt (autogen, configure, make, make install). Unfortunately it does not change anything for me. I get the same error output when I run valgrind memcheck. Were you able to repro my issue on your end? I should note that the two error logs I supplied were apparently related to different issues. The first (from CLion) is when the program is successful until hitting glfwInit(). Any calls to `std::cout << str << "\n";` prior to the bailout are successful. Whereas when I run the same command from the terminal my program appears to not even start (and I get the second error log). Since I'm totally new to valgrind I may have missed a flag specification that works differently between CLion and the default bash environment. I totally copied the flags from CLion and didn't add any on my own. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
[Discover] [Bug 387041] "Reason" and "Change Log" are frequently identical
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=387041 Nate Grahamchanged: What|Removed |Added Status|UNCONFIRMED |CONFIRMED Ever confirmed|0 |1 --- Comment #4 from Nate Graham --- I spoke to an Ubuntu developer who said that their .deb packages don't include a "Reason" field, so this must be coming from PackageKit. Digging a bit, it seems that PackageKit is synthesizing the Reason and Updates fields from the original Change Log field, but not dropping the now-duplicate Change Log field. I've filed https://github.com/hughsie/PackageKit/issues/227 I'm not going to close this yet since that bug may wind up as a WONTFIX, in which case sadly our only option is to explicitly suppress the Change Log field when the PackageKit backend is using .deb packages. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

I can't seem to replicate this same bug. Actually I can confirm this. The leak is very slow, however, and no useful output is generated from plasma-discover >> discover-out.txt. When clicking Plasma Addons, the following appears in the log: stream took really long "KNS-search-plasma-themes.knsrc" stream took really long "KNS-search-wallpaper.knsrc" stream took really long "KNS-search-cgcgtk3.knsrc" stream took really long "KNS-search-xcursor.knsrc" stream took really long "KNS-search-cgctheme.knsrc" stream took really long "KNS-search-icons.knsrc" stream took really long "AggregatedResultsStream" Not sure if this is a memory leak though. [valgrind] [Bug 380269] No multithreading in macOS Sierra (10.12)
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=380269 --- Comment #4 from Louis Brunner--- Created attachment 109303 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=109303=edit Fix crash when using multithreading on Mac OS X >= 10.12 I have finally managed to fix the issue that made pthread SIGSEGV when starting a new thread. The issue was related to the TSD. In _pthread_body, an inline function called __pthread_add_thread is called, which locks a mutex using a os_unfair_lock_lock function from libplatform. These functions use the TSD while calling _os_lock_owner_get_self to retrieve the current the current MAC Thread using _os_tsd_get_direct(__TSD_MACH_THREAD_SELF). Looking at this last function will reveal a `__asm__("mov %%gs:%1, %0" : "=r" (ret) : "m" (*(void **)(slot * sizeof(void *;`, knowing that __TSD_MACH_THREAD_SELF is 3, that outputs the `mov %gs:0x18,%ecx` that was causing problems. Now, I don't know why GS_CONST is suddenly 0 instead of the TSD address, but I found that pthread keeps the latter in its pthread_t structure and that it conveniently gives us the offset in an internal structure passed to bsdthread_register by _pthread_bsdthread_init (4th argument). In syswrap-darwin.c, we already store a few arguments passed to bsdthread_register, so I added a new one, which is the offset of the TSD member in the pthread_t structure. While starting the new thread in pthread_hijack, we can then set the value of GS_CONST to self (current pthread_t address) + pthread_tsd_offset. The program then executes normally when using pthread and multithreading. Note that a lot of programs (including yours Alexandru) still crash or malfunction (mismanagement of signals, ...) once they start running. However these issues seem unrelated to this particular pthread problem. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

Pushed by rkflx into branch 'Plasma/5.11'. Fix indentation of icon for left aligned toolbuttons Summary: Gwenview's {nav Operations} sidebar uses custom `QToolButtons` which are wide and left aligned. Special support for this in Oxygen was added with b33942690c65. However, compared to the KDE4 version there is not enough space between the left button border and the icon (Screenshots from the matching Diff for Breeze, see D9281): {F5539728} This is fixed by adding the appropriate margin: {F5539730} Note how this replicates exactly the spacing of the toolbuttons in the regular toolbar on the top (which had its icon size set to "small" in this screenshot). Test Plan: Icons on toolbuttons in Gwenview's {nav Operations} sidebar no longer squished all the way to the left, text spacing still looking good. [gwenview] [Bug 289005] The option to change zoom level is missing from the full screen / diaporama view
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=289005 --- Comment #5 from Henrik Fehlauer--- Nice idea at first, but thinking more about this, I'm not that convinced: - The toolbar autohides, i.e. when you move to the top, the statusbar appears. Now you move to the bottom, but no luck, it already disappeared. Appearing again when reaching the bottom feels a bit clunky to me. - The top screen border is the hot border, so in order to not trigger the toolbar you move your mouse away. Having an additional hot border at the bottom would make this much more difficult, especially when presenting on external monitors. IOW, top is hot, bottom is cold. If only the middle was cold, this would not fit well with Fitts' law. - We already have 5 ways to achieve this, more discoverability is not really needed. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

The second issue, that is, the canvas gets stuck scrolling to one side, has been reported before. [gwenview] [Bug 351678] Gwenview crashes when invoked from Thunderbird
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=351678 Henrik Fehlauerchanged: What|Removed |Added Status|UNCONFIRMED |RESOLVED CC||rk...@lab12.net Resolution|--- |FIXED --- Comment #4 from Henrik Fehlauer --- Testing with Thunderbird 52.5.0, Gwenview 17.12.0 and Frameworks 5.40, this works fine for me. I suspect this has been fixed in KIO at some point, because I cannot reproduce and the bug says it should be reproducable every time. Nevertheless, please test again on a newer system and comment if it still crashes for you, then we'd need to reopen. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
[Breeze] [Bug 387675] "Draw window borders for maximized windows" setting causes titlebar buttons' click zones to shrink
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=387675 --- Comment #15 from Nate Graham--- Thanks Hugo. Could we consider changing the string to indicate that it will make the window resizable while maximized? That might help explain the purpose of the feature (i.e *why* you might want the window borders to be shown when the window is maximized). How about this: "Draw window borders and allow resizing for maximized windows" If that (or something else) seems reasonable, I'd be happy to submit a patch for it. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
[gwenview] [Bug 387784] New: Sidebar in fullscreen "View" mode moves buttons out of view
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=387784 Bug ID: 387784 Summary: Sidebar in fullscreen "View" mode moves buttons out of view Product: gwenview Version: 17.08.2 Platform: Other OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: gwenview-bugs-n...@kde.org Reporter: rk...@lab12.net Target Milestone: --- When viewing an image in fullscreen mode and pressing F4 to show the sidebar, the toolbar moves so the fullscreen button at the right of the top toolbar is then outside the screen, making clicking on it no longer possible. Note that this works fine for the fullscreen "Browse" mode. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
[krita] [Bug 387783] New: System bugs almost everywhere
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=387783 Bug ID: 387783 Summary: System bugs almost everywhere Product: krita Version: 3.3.2 Platform: MS Windows OS: MS Windows Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: grave Priority: NOR Component: Tools Assignee: krita-bugs-n...@kde.org Reporter: funelca...@gmail.com Target Milestone: --- Created attachment 109301 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=109301=edit This popped up and I can't make it go away I'm currently using a HUION610 PRO,and here is a big list of things that don't work, even though I'm loving this program. - Shortcuts are messed up (ex: The "Zoom In" Shortcut on the tablet ROTATES the image, and some of the tablet's buttons switch function time by time. The erase button once was for erasing, then became "Save As" and now "Filter settings" - (watch attached file) This popped up from nothing, and now I can't do anything on the file. It just remains there - Time by time, the program could have influence on the PC's system. This only happens when I'm drawing. A little example, but when I'm on a youtube playlist, when i skip to a video,Chrome opens it on a completly different window. I hope that I can solve this soon, regards. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
