[krita] [Bug 392998] New: Brush tagging very erratic
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=392998 Bug ID: 392998 Summary: Brush tagging very erratic Product: krita Version: 4.1 Platform: MS Windows OS: MS Windows Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: Tagging Assignee: krita-bugs-n...@kde.org Reporter: andr...@andreasresch.at Target Milestone: --- Hello. The brush tagging system is very erratic. Renaming, assigning and deleting tags lead to all sorts of problems. I've recorded a screencast to show the issues. Here's the link ... http://www.andreasresch.at/upload/Krita_Screencast_01.zip When the screen goes blue, I'm restarting Krita. The behaviour is pretty chaotic and I can't really see a logic behind that behaviour. Sometimes is works, sometimes it doesnt. Check it out and please fix that as soon as you can. I'm about to transfer my brushes from PS to Krita and you can imagine how frustrating it is to arrange the brushes with the faulty tagging. [krita] [Bug 372221] Pop-up palette color selector - difficult to select colors.
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=372221 --- Comment #19 from Boudewijn Rempt --- Yes, we know. The selector you get with the fg/bg color selector can actually do more than the "normal" color selector, like selecting HDR colors, and that is one reason it's slower. The other reason is that we haven't figured out how to cache the color wheel, which means it gets recalculated on every more. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=302527 Paul changed: What|Removed |Added CC||formyweb...@gmail.com --- Comment #19 from Paul --- I'm putting in my 2 cents on this report. I agree with Andrew and Drew. Opening a modal window to edit image specific IPTC fields is neither intuitive nor does it encourage good data management habits. These location fields (sub-location, city, state/province, country) should be editable in the same area as the Title and Caption fields of the right sidebar in the main window. And templates should not used for data that changes image to image. Best use of templates is for info that does not change often, but should be applied to every image that is imported. When I use a Gnome file manager (like Caja file manager) and open a remote file from it with a Gnome app (GIMP, Inkscape, ATOM editor) it does it as is expected by user: The file opened is not copied locally and you can save directly being sure it's saved in the original file. [krita] [Bug 372221] Pop-up palette color selector - difficult to select colors.
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=372221 --- Comment #18 from Emmet O'Neill --- Just wanted to add that while pop-up palette and advanced color selector currently feel pretty responsive, the color selector within the "Select a Color" pop-up window (that appears when you click on your current foreground/background colors) still feels significantly worse. The other selectors try to smoothly follow your cursor even when it leaves the widget area. On the other hand, the "Select a Color" window doesn't do this, and the selection stops following the instant your cursor leaves the hue ring or the saturation/value triangle. This ends up feeling very buggy and unforgiving as your selection 'sticks' to the edges of the triangle/ring, which is especially annoying with a pen/tablet or as you approach the corners of the triangle. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
