https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=356225 Andriy Gaponchanged: What|Removed |Added CC||a...@icyb.net.ua --- Comment #298 from Andriy Gapon --- My very wild guess is that the problem is caused by KDE using simple numbers in its "Containments" configuration. For example: [Containments][86] screen=1 But how KDE assigns those numbers could be unstable. It's possible that when a new monitor is added existing monitors get different numbers. And so, things get shuffled on the screen. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[plasmashell] [Bug 376065] auto-hide panel flickers
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=376065 Vincent Petrychanged: What|Removed |Added CC||pvinc...@yahoo.fr --- Comment #8 from Vincent Petry --- Created attachment 112726 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=112726=edit Video demonstrating autohide flicker I'm also experiencing the flickering on my setup: - openSUSE Tumbleweed 20180502 - intel GPU (Haswell-ULT Integrated Graphics Controller) using i915 module - plasma5-workspace-5.12.4-4.1.x86_64 - xorg options: ``` Section "Device" Identifier "Intel Graphics" Driver "intel" Option "DRI" "3" Option "AccelMethod" "sna" EndSection ``` At some point I had different accelmethod and xorg options but the problem still existed, so likely unrelated. Please watch the video and see how annoying it is: 1) Sometimes the panel disappears completely, fine 2) Sometimes the panel disappears but leaves a few rows of pixels, and flickers continuously 3) Sometimes the panel disappears but leaves a few rows and flickers only when typing in the console (maybe some redraw thing) Disabling desktop effects solves the problem as the panel hides without animation. I suspect that maybe the animation has a rounding error somewhere when calculating the height/position ? Or the auto-hide animation doesn't end properly ? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
