https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=394061 vanyossi changed: What|Removed |Added CC||ghe...@gmail.com --- Comment #20 from vanyossi --- I had that problem with my intuos 2 pen after it fell to the ground tip first :c. The brush you attached works correctly on my genius tablet, There is no bubble from "a little bigger step than the others". however I did play a little with the settings and It might help to reduce the spikes to 2 (this makes no difference in appearance in circular brushes) and also remove the "softness" checkbox from the dynamics properties and achieve the softness from the curve alone. Using softness dynamics on the soft engine produces a double halo on some curves (Visible if you uncheck size and paint gently). the halo could produce the effect you are seeing, but testing with the setup I have I could not get any bubble. you can try to see if the problem is the pen tablet information krita is reading by toggling on the tablet logging "Ctrl + Shift + T". Analize the output using this python tool @yoyobuae made(get it from here https://twitter.com/yoyobuae/status/1013094034313801728 and running the tool as instructed in the tweet). the curves will not be super smooth but the curve should not have abrupt bumps. (I know you said it was not any hardware issue, or driver. but it might have to do with processing speeds, only way to know is to peek at what krita is seeing) -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[krita] [Bug 396144] New: [Wish/Bug] Picking colors from Reference Image (Color Picker tool doesn't work; enable option to pick by just clicking)
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=396144 Bug ID: 396144 Summary: [Wish/Bug] Picking colors from Reference Image (Color Picker tool doesn't work; enable option to pick by just clicking) Product: krita Version: 4.1.0 Platform: Other OS: MS Windows Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: Usability Assignee: krita-bugs-n...@kde.org Reporter: tamtamy.tym...@gmail.com Target Milestone: --- If you select the color picker from the toolbar, it doesn't pick colors from Reference Image the way that quick color picker (ctrl + click) does. Also it would be nice to have an option to pick colors from Reference Image without holding ctrl (but as an option). Reproducible: Always. Steps to reproduce: A. Color Picker Tool: 1. Open new document, color it to two colors (X and Y), add a reference photo. 1. Choose Color Picker Tool. 2. Click on Reference Image (repeatedly, on top of both colors). Actual results: 3a. When on color X, color picker prints out (in Tool Options docker) that specific color and updates current color to it. When on the other color (Y), it prints out different values and updates current color to it. When on various parts on Reference Image, it prints out different values (different than X and Y and usually picked colors differs from themselves), but the current color remains not updated. Expected results: 3b. Current color is updated to the new value picked from Reference Image. B. Picking by just clicking (the way it worked in Reference Docker): 1. Open new document, add a reference photo. 2. Click on reference photo. Actual results: 3a. Painting behind the Reference Image. Expected results: 3b. Option to pick colors from Ref. Image with just clicking; when selected/checked, after clicking it should update the current color to the color picked from the Reference Image. Relevant posts from reddit: A, B - https://www.reddit.com/r/krita/comments/8u83le/krita_410_released/e1dcnq1/ A - https://www.reddit.com/r/krita/comments/8vp7p2/color_selector_tool_not_working_on_the_reference/ A is very much needed, B is (for me) a nice addition, but should be optional because this functionality might be confusing. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=396139 --- Comment #1 from Jarosław Staniek --- There can be various reasons for the plugin hangs. In my case it was using ASAN (address sanitizer) for a test version of KEXI. In this case building KEXI without ASAN helps. Second workaround: run KEXI with project filename (or .kexis connection file) as an argument so the Welcome screen is not displayed. Third workaround: remove PREFIX/share/kexi/3.2/status/status.ui file before running KEXI.. If KEXI was compiled by you, also remove the src/main/status/status.ui file from the source code before running KEXI. In this workaround KEXI won't find the file so it will not hang before trying to load it. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[Discover] [Bug 396140] New: Proposed UX improvements for update behavior
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=396140 Bug ID: 396140 Summary: Proposed UX improvements for update behavior Product: Discover Version: unspecified Platform: Other OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: wishlist Priority: NOR Component: Updater Assignee: aleix...@kde.org Reporter: n...@kde.org Target Milestone: --- For packaging formats that have separate download/install phases, the typical process of updating results in entries on the Updates page exhibiting the following behavior: - First the progress bars for every item fill up halfway - Then once all of them have filled up halfway, they all start to complete one at a time This results in a somewhat uncertain experience for a user, because most progress bars don't behave this way, and it may be unclear what's going on. The user may be left thinking, "What's happening here? It is stuck? Should I close the app and start over?" I'd like to propose a more user-friendly behavior: - Once the update process begins, each item's progress bar displays the word "Downloading" and fills up to 100% - Once an item has been downloaded, its text changes to "Downloaded" and its progress bar resets to 0% - When an item moves to the installation phase, its tech changes to "Installing" and the progress bar fills up to 100% again as it's installed - Once each item is successfully installed, it *immediately* disappears from the list Combined with the sorting proposed in Bug 390911, I believe the result will be a substantially improved user interface that makes it much more clear what's happening, and as a consequence generates increased confidence in Discover as a GUI updater. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

It just sits consuming 100% CPU time, pages content never displayed (empty white pages are displayed with okular logo in the left upper corner). Meanwhile interface remains responsive and pages, rendered before the hang occured, are still displayed when you scroll back. Okular does not actually crash, it just hangs, endlessly running at 100% load. Most often can be reproduced when holding PgDn(PgUp) continuosly for some time so okular is forced to go very fast, skipping pages. Sometimes it occurs when you type in some page number from the middle of the document and go directly. This bug is much easier to reproduce when processor is heavily loaded in background (i.e. building stuff). In that case it could be reproduced almost every time with any large document. [kde] [Bug 396135] New: Language and regional settings conflict
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=396135 Bug ID: 396135 Summary: Language and regional settings conflict Product: kde Version: unspecified Platform: Neon Packages OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: unassigned-b...@kde.org Reporter: frap...@gmail.com Target Milestone: --- First of all, I am not sure which product I should have created this bug into... I am from Argentina, however I prefer to have my system configured in English, and the issue I have is that, even that the language is English, under "Numeric, Currency and Time Formats" (System settings -> Regional Settings -> Formats) I configure the "Region" to be "Argentina", and now the "long format" for the time is in spanish: https://i.imgur.com/TBscdmJ.png I tried changing this to be either United States or UK under region, but then it would change the short format to be MM/DD/ and imperial system for units. What I want is to have the time, money, numbers, and all of the settings in normal "International" format, while the text to be English. This is particularly annoying since I use KMail for work and when I reply to an email I get half English, half Spanish template: https://i.imgur.com/2cEZyWF.png Being able to choose a different language/region for specific applications, would also be great -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
