[plasmashell] [Bug 398141] New: Dropping an Icon from Screen1 onto Screen2 opens the copy/cut contextmenu when both screens use "desktop:/"
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=398141 Bug ID: 398141 Summary: Dropping an Icon from Screen1 onto Screen2 opens the copy/cut contextmenu when both screens use "desktop:/" Product: plasmashell Version: 5.13.4 Platform: Other OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: Folder Assignee: h...@kde.org Reporter: zrenf...@gmail.com CC: plasma-b...@kde.org Target Milestone: 1.0 A fellow on IRC reported this bug. He was Using Fedora 28. I only have 1 screen, so I tested 2 screens with a KDE Neon iso in Virtualbox. I tried changing the first checkbox from "show the desktop folder" to "Select a Place > Desktop" and the contextmenu did not show up. https://streamable.com/ufxx4 So it seems to be a bug with droping from/to the url "desktop:/", where as dropping onto the "/home/zren/Desktop" url is fine. I tested the other two entries in the "logic table" too. https://streamable.com/9nfox * Dragging from "/home/zren/Desktop" to "desktop:/" caused a contextmenu to appear. * Dragging from "desktop:/" to "/home/zren/Desktop" caused nothing to happen. First of all, the two urls are detected as "different folders" so the same icons appear on both screens. The icon on the second screen does not move, nor does the icon on the first screen. No contextmenu appears either. The IRC user confirmed the workaround of using "Places > Desktop" on all 3 of his screens. Note that this isn't an ideal workaround as *.desktop files appear as "files" instead of "links". -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
[kio-extras] [Bug 398140] New: Thumbnail generation causes execution of web page.
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=398140 Bug ID: 398140 Summary: Thumbnail generation causes execution of web page. Product: kio-extras Version: unspecified Platform: Neon Packages OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: major Priority: NOR Component: Thumbnails and previews Assignee: plasma-b...@kde.org Reporter: bugs.kde@boonhead.nl Target Milestone: --- Premise: As I'm changing the icon of my Application Menu in KDE, I opened the "Select Icon" dialog, I chose "Other icons", and "Browse". I get the Dolphin version of the "common open file dialog". This dialog opens my home folder. In my home folder I have a sub-directory. This sub-directory contains a HTML file. The HTML file contains only a `` tag with attribute `autoplay="true" loop="true" src="[..]`. (In my case `https://static1.squarespace.com/static/5b5f03d47c93279793af2d46/t/5b86591bb8a045dcb8664a1c/1535531301739/short+commercial.mp4";>`) Problem: Dolphin's "common open file dialog" starts playing the video. I was baffled as sound was playing and I had no idea where it was coming from. I thought I was hacked or something. If I remove the HTML file containing the ``-tag, all behaves normal again. The processes involved: thumbnail.so -> QtWebEngineProcess. If video is being executed within the web page, I wonder what more can be executed.. and possibly exploited.. I have filed this bug as 'major' because I don't know how severe this issue actually is.. feel free to scale the severity down. I'm using most recent version of KDE Neon 5.12.6, Frameworks 5.49.0, Qt 5.11.1. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

The right click is configured in Krita to bring the pop up palette, and the middle click is configured to start the pan mode. Both functions work well with the mouse buttons, but the same is not observed when working with the stylus. Importantly, the buttons aren't recognized in Krita only when the cursor is on the painting area -- the stylus' right click works fine on the menus, brush presets, tools, etc. The buttons are also correcly recognized as the expected mouse buttons in Krita's Tablet Tester (even though they are recognized as sequential (?) presses, while in the mouse they are recognized as single clicks even when I hold the buttons). [plasmashell] [Bug 341143] Wallpaper on every desktop is gone.
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=341143 --- Comment #292 from michel --- I use Linux and KDE since 2001 (with Suse7.1) as the only OS and Desktop-Environment and was glad about the more and more increasing number of features and stability. There was not everything made out of gold, what was shining. But again and again a little bit waiting always helped... But the times change... After OpenSuSE 13.1 (it was a great mistake from me, to change away from this version with at least a perfect KDE4.14) and Leap42.2 I now arrived at Leap15.0 with KDE 5.12.5. But the since beginning of KDE5 disappeared wonderful feature of differrent wallpapers for every desktop came almost still not back. Often waiting helped solving problems. But not now. KDE's features decrease more and more. Where will this end? I don't want, that neither MS nor AXXle nor anything else decides, how my desktop (and computer) has to work and to look like - this worked good in the last years and was one of the main-reasons, why I changed to Linux long time ago. On the KDE-Website is written:"We have a strong focus on finding innovative solutions to old and new problems". Well... I really hope, that this long lasting old problem will finally find a happy end! The wheel mustn't be invented new, it is still available (KDE4.14). Why don't adapt and use it again? Would be nice, if the developers would give a statement about this continuous problem and how they think to solve it. [kmymoney] [Bug 398134] New: Automatically Mark Shares that Were Sold
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=398134 Bug ID: 398134 Summary: Automatically Mark Shares that Were Sold Product: kmymoney Version: 5.0.1 Platform: Other OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: kmymoney-de...@kde.org Reporter: rlth...@verizon.net Target Milestone: --- Add a mechanism to automatically mark shares that were sold. I believe most people use First-in, First-out (FIFO) method for selling shares (they could use last-in, first-out (LIFO)). The FIFO or LIFO option could be selected when the investment is created. When shares are sold with a FIFO setting, the application starts with the latest, non-sold, shares and marks them sold up to the actual amount sold. For partial amount sold (ie 300 shares where bought on 3/20/2000; 200 shares were sold on 8/14/2018), a new, read-only, field to indicate how many shares are remaining. In my example, this new field's value would be 100. Marking sold share affects the average price for the shares. May also affect other reports. The way you calculate the number of shares will need to be modified. Once the shares are marked as sold. You only need to add all purchase related actives. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[krita] [Bug 397465] Broken Color Space with Blending Modes, and a few effective broken broken blending modes
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=397465 --- Comment #3 from reptilli...@live.com --- I know that the one that are grey'd out are not implemented. I'm referring to the one that are available. Lab32F, CMYK32F sometimes have completely black output or white output when using blending modes. I know the issue has to do with how Krita calculate numbers using 0-1 instead of 0-128 for LAB32F. LAB32F do have proper A, and B Channel output though unlike LAB16I, and LAB8I. I guess the entire LAB model are broken for some available blending modes. As for CMYK32F, you see output like the one on above post. CMYK8I, and CMYK16I works well enough. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[latte-dock] [Bug 398052] The dock stays hidden when closing the last shown and active window and there is only one dock present
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=398052 --- Comment #40 from Michail Vourlakos --- Steps to reproduce just in any case (#2 - based on the second fix): 1. Use a latte layout that has only one dock present 2. minimize all windows 3. start Latte and click on a launcher 4. make the new created window to overlap the dock in order for the dock to become hidden 5. close the new created window 6. the dock doesnt appear afterwards P.S. For the record the Dodge behavior very important code has not been implemented by me in the past so in order to take ownership and understand why things were implemented that way I will be more aggressive to solutions. Better a commented and understandable code that may reintroduce issues than a black box solution that is difficult to be improved in the future. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

QT version is 5.10. In konsole -> Settings -> Configure Konsole -> TabBar : As I see from Bug 380879(https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=380879), there are 2 different sections for "Expand individual Tab Widths to Full Window", and selecting a custom style-sheet. But if custom style sheet is selected, "Expand individual Tab Widths to Full Window" seems always true. I.e. tabs would expand to different, random sizes. In https://docs.kde.org/trunk5/en/applications/konsole/tabbarstylsheet.html, I don't see a way to configure the css to ask it to be non-expanding. My current css, attached, therefore, uses hard coded width - which under-utilises screen space. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[digikam] [Bug 397919] Segmentation fault during maintenance
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=397919 --- Comment #25 from Mathieu --- I just finish a maintenance process without activating faces detection and it works. So I suppose that the problem is related to this option. I will perform a test with only face detection (single, multicore) and after, I will test your request. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
