Android was restoring settings from the auto-save feature. The settings were from an old phone. To solve the issue I have disabled the auto restore settings from auto-save. The id it sends is not the same as the CN (common name) of the SSL certificate that the smartphone sends. When kdeconnect tries to open a QSslSocket to download the file the connection fails with the error: "The host name did not match any of the valid hosts for this certificate", so the file can not be downloaded. This part works perfectly. The problem is that it seems to forget the rules. The rules will be working perfectly, then suddenly it stops working. When I go back to the settings window, some of the rules will ramdomly be gone, different ones every time. The issue seems to be that it can't save all the rules properly, they keep getting deleted. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Make several Window Rules from System Settings-> Window Mnagement->window rules. 2. Wait a bit and they will dissapear and the rules stop working. OBSERVED RESULT Windows not getting their positions and size set based on the rules, works initially, then suddenly stops working. Sometime the kwinrulesrc file will have a few rules rndomly missing. I even tried to chmod 000 the file after importing all my rules again to make sure it can't be modified by another file, and the problem persisted, the rules were still in the file but the windows were not being positioned correctly. Of course now I can't use the gui to 'refresh' the rules so I had to change the permissions back and I now keep using the above workaround to refresh the rules. Work around At first, I would leave the settings window open in another activity and then just press 'move up' and 'move down' to force and change, hit apply and it will keep working as normal. As in subject. Please check attached screenshot.
Used Widget Style is Oxygen.
In first run of Dolphin appmenu button is placed correctly, only after couple
of restoration of session (relogin, restart system) just disappears. This is
annoying, because I don't have access to main menu.
Please note that restoring of this button menu is correctly done in KDevelop.
Additionally please note that in directory ~/.config/session in case of every

It is noteworthy that in case of KDevelop in mentioned directory is always
placed only one file.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
0. Set restore session of Plasma
1. Set "Widget Style" (in Application Style) as Oxygen
2. Set appmenu ("Application Menu") in Application Style -> Window Decorations
-> Buttons
3. Run Dolphin
4. Log off, log in couple times to Plasma
OBSERVED RESULT
appmenu ("Application Menu") just disappears in one of next restored Plasma
session. Another effect might be that main menu looks like normal (options
placed in bar).
EXPECTED RESULT
appmenu ("Application Menu") should be always placed in left top corner (in
place where user set it) and looks like (usually hamburger) button.

Issue I have some kwin Window Rules, basically for certain firefox windows, if the title of the window matches a string it will force the size and position so that it always appears on the screen where I want. This part works perfectly. The problem is that it seems to forget the rules. The rules will be working perfectly, then suddenly it stops working. When I go back to the settings window, some of the rules will ramdomly be gone, different ones every time. The issue seems to be that it can't save all the rules properly. Steps to reproduce Make several Window Rules from System Settings-> Window Mnagement->window rules. Wait a bit and they will dissapear and the rules stop working. The rules that I have are substring match for the title for firefox, then size and position get set to force. Work around At first, I would leave the settings window open in another activity and then just press 'move up' and 'move down' to force and change, hit apply and it will keep working as normal. Sometimes this stops working just 1-2 mins later so I have exported all my rules so that I can reimport them quickly. Sometime the kwinrulesrc file will have a few rules rndomly missing. I even tried to chmod 000 the file after importing all my rules again to make sure it can't be modified by another file, and the problem persisted, the rules were still in the file but the windows were not being positioned correctly. I have reproduced the issue. Another way to reproduce is to:
1, create a file with a vector layer, two shapes
2, save and close the file
3, reopen the file
4, try to align the shapes
5, nothing happens.
I'm attaching my testing file to this bug.
The bug is not specific to the Arrange docker. The right-click context menu is
also affected.
I have run it in GDB, here is what I have seen:
After selecting my two shapes in Krita, the following function (in
DefaultTool.cpp:1573) is triggered:

[ ... code that enables/disables arrange actions ... ]
It runs two times. Usually the first time it calls DefaultTool::koSelection,
which returns two entries for editableShapes and therefore the arrange actions
are enabled.
The second time, ToolReferenceImages::koSelection() is called instead,
editableShapes are therefore empty and the arrange actions are disabled.
